Patty's POV

4 AM I hear my phone vibrate on the bedside table. I slowly open my eyes and untangle myself from Carrie.

I turn over and look at my lit up phone. Jason is calling me.

"Hello?" I grumble.

"Hey mate, just getting a little worried about you two, are you gonna be home in time to pack for Summer in the City?" Jason asks.

"Shit." I say at a normal talking tone. Carrie stirs and opens her eyes.

"Who's that?" she asks quietly.

"It Jason, sorry I didn't mean to wake you. Go back to sleep." I say kissing her forehead. She turns over and goes backtrack To sleep.

"Oh shoot sorry Pat, I forgot about the one difference." Jason says quickly.

"It's fine. I'll call you in the morning." I mumble.

"Alright sorry again. Night." Jason says hanging up.

I set my phone back on the night stand and kiss Carries cheek, wrapping my arms around her waist.

Carrie's POV

When I wake up in the morning, Patty is hunched over on the desk on his lap top with his phone pressed to his ear.

I rub the sleep our of my eyes and stretch. It's one of those amazing stretches that makes you involuntarily make some weird squeaking noise.

I quickly cover my mouth since Patty is on the phone. He looks over his shoulder and grins. He says "I'll talk to you later" to whoever he is on the phone with.

"Morning." He smiles.

"Good morning." I say putting my feet over the side of the bed.

I flip my head upside down and pull my unruly hair into a messy bun. I walk over to Patty and wrap my hands around his slumped shoulders, pressing my lips to his cheeks.

"Have you eaten anything?" I ask.

"Not since I woke up." He yawns.

"When was that?" I ask.

"Seven-thirty-ish." He shrugs. I look at the clock. It's almost eleven.

"Do you want me to make you some food?" I say setting my chin on his shoulder.

"That'd be lovely." He says not taking his eyes off the computer screen.

"Kay." I mumble walking toward the door.

"Wait." He says speaking up. I turn around as he walks toward me. He goes to press his lips to mine and I quickly stop his. Patty freezes looking confused and embarrassed.

"I have bad morning breath." I giggle scrunching my nose. He chuckles and leaves a light, loving kiss on my collar bone, and also on my cheek.

I smile and quickly walk out of the room. I scamper down the stairs and into the kitchen which is empty.

I search the kitchen for something vegan legal. I find some bread on top of the fridge, I'll toast it.

I throw it into the toaster and fix myself some Lucky Charms cereal. The toaster dings and so I grab a plate to put the warm bread on.

They toast looks boring so I decide to put some butter on them. I get it out of the fridge and right before I put it on the them I jump at the sound of Jameson's voice.

"Dont!" He says quickly. "Who's are those?"

"Jesus Christ." I mumble.

"Oh, their for Jesus? Go ahead then." He say sarcastically. I roll my eyes.
