Chapter 41

Everyone is finally back from SITC. Everything is calm and settled. No unexpected news. Everything is nice.

Me and Patty have now learned that we apparently can't sleep away from each other without have nightmares or.... uh.... wet dreams.

Heh heh.

Me and Emma are now just sitting on the couch at Patty's house.

"Where are the boys?" I ask Emma suddenly.

"I actually have no idea. I think I saw them out back last. Let's go." She says quickly pulling me up quickly.

"Calm down. You nearly yanked my arm off." I giggle as I follow her to the back yard.

As soon as we step out I stand in awe at the sight in front of me. Fairy lights are somehow strung all across the yard. Patty stands in black skinny jeans and a white button up in front of me.

I feel Emma let go of my arm and I pull my eyes away from the sight to see her run inside giggling. I turn back to patty, who smiles warmly.

"What a surprise." I smile. He smiles back, not saying a word. Music starts to play softly all of the sudden.

Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran.

I blush as Patty steps forward and takes my hand.

"Can we dance?" He asks with a smirk. I nod. He pulls me close setting both hands on my hips and I wrap my arms around his neck.

We dance slowly to the music staring into each others eyes.

"What's the occasion? " I ask rather quietly.

"Because I love you." He smiles. I bite my lip and feel the heat rise to my face once again.

We twirl and rock to the music until the song ends. Patty kisses me gently. He then pulls back and takes my wrist guiding my hand to his heart.

I look at him confused as I feel his heart beating like a rabbits. Now that I noticed, he's breathing quiet heavily too.

"I'm so nervous." He breaths with a small smile.

"Why? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing's wrong. Everything's right." He whispers. "Carrie, I love you. More than you could ever know. And it's pretty damn obvious we can't even spend a whole night without each other." He pauses. Fiddling with his pocket.

My heart beats hard. He pulls out a small box letting out a shaky breath. I gasp and feel tears brimming on my eyes.

Through my blurred vision I see Patty get down on one knee.

"Oh my god." I whisper, tears streaming the whole time. He takes my hands into his.

"Carrie.... I want to spend my entire life with you. Go through the good and the bad. And..." he swallows hard getting choked up, " I want to show you that you are loved and appreciated every single day. And I want to wake next you everyday and not fear that one day you might leave me. I want you to be mine. So.... if you don't mind." He gives a light chuckle. "Can I brand you with my last name?"

I nod violently.

"Will you marry me?" Patty asks.

"Yes! Yes! Oh my god!" I sob. He stands up quickly and grabs me. Picking me up and spinning me around.

"I know we haven't talked about it, are you sure?" He asks.

"Yes now shut up and kiss me!" I say smashing my lips to his. That's when everyone comes out of the house clapping and cheering and smiling and crying.

Patty fist pumps and I giggle, still crying! This was so sudden and unexpected.

Patty sets me down carefully and holds my hand placing the ring on my left ring finger. I turn around and I am surprised by the many faces.

Mimi
Grandpa
Grandma
Jameson
Amber
Emma
Luke
Karim
Jason
And Marina.

I smile and run to hug everyone.

Later on that night when everything is some what calm, Mimi pulls me aside.

"Your mother would be so proud." She smiles.

"Thank you Mimi. That..... that means allot." I mumble smiling.

"You know, I trust this boy. Patty called me about a month ago and asked for your fathers number. I was surprised to have gotten a call from him at all, and more surprised for what he asked for. 'Why d'ya need that son?' I ask. He was shy about it at first but then told me all his plans and how he wanted to do Things properly. I told him I haven't got your fathers number, but that he should ask Jameson. And I'm pretty sure he did." She finishes.

I turn and look the them. Jameson pats Patty on the back and chuckles as Patty blushes and shakes his head.

I adore them both so much. I look down at the ring on my hand and smile.

"Thank you. I think I needed to hear that." I smile at Mimi and give her a hug.

3 Years Later

The wedding was amazing. I invited my aunt Dian and her family and they did come. We made up and apologized for the things that were said.

My father came to the wedding, and didn't drink the entire night. We grew a new relationship after many tears from both sides. He died a year after on February 25 in a car accident with a drunk driver after he had been sober for over 2 years.

My grandparents all ended living together at Grandmas big house in Italy, and though they are starting to lose memory and hearing, their hearts are as happy as children's! Me and Patty and the children go visit them often.

Yes. I said children. A year after our marriage me tried for children and ended up with twin boys. Edison and Emmett. Patty was very happy.

As It Is, Patty's band, sky rocketed! It was signed to a record deal and they are planning a tour. Although we miss him on tour, me and the children patiently wait for his return home.

Our marriage wasn't the only one. Jameson and Amber FINALLY got hitched the year the twins were born. I told James I was finally ahead at something. They are happily married and plan to try for kids soon.

Luke and Emma also got married, they live happily and continue YouTube. As for Jason and Marina, they broke up after a tumble. Jason and Karim now travel the world as best friends. Marina is dating a man who makes her feel a very special way.

So there you have it.
See my life has allot of ups and a whole lot of downs, but hear I can finally see my happy ending.
