Chapter 1- dreams and realizations

I do not own any harry potter characters, they all belong to jk rowling. This story will be after the battle at hogwarts. Since your reading this im not gonna go into alot of detail because youve read the books or watched the movies. I can guarantee that this is going to be one of the longest harry potter fan fictions that you have ever read. I love reading harry potter fan fictions, but they are never long enough. So im going to try. This is going to my first one that i wrote. Hope its not boring. Im also adding people to the story that would like me too.

Chapter 1- dreams and realizations

Harrys pov:

It was dark. All I kept wondering was "where am I?" My forehead was burning where the lightening shape scar was, that I received when I was just one year old from the darkest wizard of all time.

I cant remember much about that awful night except a woman screaming and a man saying to "take Harry and run", a whole lot of green light, and a evil and vicious high pitch laugh. I have found out over the years from people and also my own experiences that the woman was my mum,the man was my dad, the evil and vicious laugh was Tom Riddle aka Lord Voldemort.

The green light was from him killing my mum and then trying to kill me. The only reason that it failed to kill me was because my mum stood in front me, in between me and the evil wizard that wanted me dead. She took the unforgivable curse "avada kadavra" for me and when Voldemort killed her, he turned to me and cast the curse on me but it didnt work because my mums love saved me and it broke him.

He was gone for 10 years then came back sharing a body with one of the professors of hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry..and he tried to kill me. I barely survived but I Did because of my mums love again. That was just my first year of being a wizard.

Then he came back in a dream form in my second year and my best friends sister Ginny almost died..and I almost did too. Headmaster Albus Dumbledore helped me out there by sending his phoenix with the sorting hat that had the sword of gryffindor with that I was able to defeat salazaar slytherins basilisk and also get rid of tom riddles dream form. Which he was out of because of his 50 year old diary.Which I took care of that with a basilisk fang which took care of Riddle.

The next year I met my dads best friend that was also my Godfather that was in a wizard prison called azkaban but he escaped but he was framed by a wizard who looked like a huge rat although, he actually had a animagus form of a rat....suits him right the bloody traitor, named Peter pettigrew. But atleast my other best friend Hermione Granger and I was able to help Sirius to escape again from the guards of Azkaban Prison which all called Dementors.

The fourth year of hogwarts Lord Voldemort returned at the end of the year, thanks to his loyal follower peter Peter Pettigrew and also another named Barty Crouch Jr. The stupid death eater. The minister of magic Cornelious Fudge refused to believe it. All through my fifth year he was trying to get Professor Dumbledore thrown out and trying to make the wizarding world discredit Dumbledore and myself. Finally after a hard year and me losing Sirius, the wizarding world finally believed that Voldemort was back and that Sirius was wrongly accused but he never got to know freedom due to his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange killing him.

The next year, Professor Dumbledore worked with me to teach me how to get rid of Voldemort. Voldemort had killed so many people that he wanted to lock pieces of his soul into treasures that he made into horcruxes. Dumbledore lost his life willingly to help someone to stay whole" Draco Malfoy". My arch enemy.

The year I was supposed to go back for my seventh year I didnt go and neither did my two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger instead we went to look for the other Horcruxes and it ended in a battle at Hogwarts where many lives were lost. Remus and Tonks, Ron's older brother Fred, and numerous others. The only good that was done was Voldemort was gone. Its been 3 months since then and we all are still trying to get past the whole thing.
