"You foolish girl!"
"It wasn't my fault!" The girl argued.
"So what you mean to say is that is was another Weasley girl, hm?"
The girl growled. "No, but-"
"You will serve detention with me-"
"What! But-"
"Tonight, seven pm."
- Hermione was sure the conversation was between Ginny and Snape: she recognized those voices out of thousands. "Ugh!" Ginny stamped away. Now it was only her and Snape.
Hermione peered between her eyelashes. "Stop pretending like you're asleep, it isn't working." Snape said.
"Why are you so mad at Ginny?" Hermione asked. He looked away.
"She has hurt you."
Hermione smiled. "But not on purpose."
"So?" He snapped. His face was a mixture of many different emotions. Hermione was shocked to say the least.
"I didn't meant to upset you." She said soft, not knowing what else to say at this new experience.
They stayed silent for a while. Snape was the first one to speak again. "You have to go to the Hospital Wing."
Hermione looked around. She lay at the ground from the tribune. A little bit further lay a broken broom.
Ginny's broom.
She wanted to stand but Snape protested. "You're leg is broken. You can't walk." Hermione looked at her leg. She hadn't felt the pain, but now her leg hurt so much, she began to see blurry.
Snape saw this and began to move uncomfortably. "I'll bring you." He raised his wand and let her float.
Hermione screamed: her leg dangled loose in the air. Snape, startled by her sudden exclamation, had lowered his wand. His spell broke with this and she fell down, but he quickly caught her.
Hermione breathed heavily. Her leg hurt so much, she couldn't think clear anymore. At the end the pain became so heavy, she passed out

She woke up in a bed from the Hospital Wing. She saw Madame Pomfrey standing with Snape. Pomfrey walked to a shelve and picked a vial when Snape strode over to Hermione.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"A bit." Hermione growled. Snape walked to the door. "No, don't leave! Please, stay with me!" She yelled, but he didn't listened and left the wing.
"Here, drink this up, dear." Madame Pomfrey said. "It will help." Hermione felt terrible, but drank the potion. She began to feel sleepy and soon she dozed in.

When she woke up, she heard Snape talking to Madame Pomfrey. "Yes! I gave her a few potions. And yes, you've said I shouldn't interfere me with her, but now she is completely healed!"
At that moment Snape saw she was awake and he strode towards her. "You came back.." Hermione said soft, but happy. "And you took care of me."
He couldn't deny it. "Yes." He said.
"You..care for me..?" Hermione whispered.
Severus felt very uncomfortable. Yes, he cared for her. Why, he didn't know.
