When breakfast was finally over, the lessons started. Hermione slapped Neville so he woke up and they walked all together to History of Magic.

While everyone prepared to fall asleep, except Neville, who had already fallen asleep again, Hermione packed out her belongings and sat down, happily waiting for the class to begin.

She didn't quite understand why people hated this class so much. It was interesting to learn about the history of the Wizarding and World and the 'history of magic' as it was called. Sure, professor Binns was not really the most energetic teacher but he for sure wasn't boring. He was a ghost and a teacher. That is interesting, right?

The lesson started and Hermione had to admit that she could understand why people didn't like History of Magic. But she still found it interesting.

The rest of the day passed by in a blurr and before they knew it the bell of the last class rang and they were free. Harry and Ron were acting normal again and everything was fine. When Harry and Ron started to work on their homework Hermione sat down on one of the couches near the fire, bored.

She had already done all of her homework.

She saw Ron open his mouth and she knew he was gonna ask if she could help them with their work. She really wasn't in the mood for that so she decided to cut him off. "I'm going to the library. See you at dinner!" She waved and quickly exited the Gryffindor common room.

She walked through the hallways and past the library, not really having a heading. Suddenly she reached the stairs towards the hallway with the Prince room. She smiled. How could she have forget about that? She quietly walked up the staircase and through the dark halls until she saw a dark figure fast heading towards her.

Black hair, black clothes and black eyes doomed up before her and Hermione opened her mouth to say something but stopped when Severus put an finger on her lips, a signal that she should not say a word.

'Severus? Why do I have to be quiet? ' She asked him in his mind.

'McGonagall let students shadow me. There is one close behind me and he can't see us together, he would immediately go to Minerva and she would be unstoppable. '

'But why does she let you shadowing? ' Hermione asked.

'She wants to know why you.. punched me,' He paused. Hermione suddenly felt guilty. '-and she wants to know every single detail about the commotion you started in the Great Hall.'

  'Oh.'

They stayed silent (😂) until Severus dropped his hand and they could speak out loud again. "He's gone." Severus said. They started to walk towards Severus's room, the Prince Room.

"I'm sorry about that, you know." Hermione said.

"The punch? Oh well, it did hurt, but nothing I can't handle. The Dark Lord treated me worse."

Hermione pulled on a sympathetic face. "I'm sorry about that too."

Severus shook his head. "Don't be."

They didn't speak till they entered the Room. Hermione installed herself on the couch. Sev sat down beside her. "A lot of homework?" He asked. Hermione smiled at his interest. "No, actually I already made everything in class." Severus smiled and shook his head.

"Of course, my know-it-all."

Hermione blushed. Did he wanted to remind her to her dream?

"So...wanna do something?" He asked.

She looked up. "Like what?" Severus shrugged. "I don't know. Brew a potion maybe?" Hermione laughed.

"Sure, Master Brewer. Prefer one?"

Severus grinned lightly. "Amortentia again? I bet you already started practicing everything for the exams?"

Hermione grinned. "Practice makes perfect."

They stood up at the same time and bumped heads, causing Hermione to fall to the ground. Her head hurt. She rubbed the back of her head and moaned. Severus stretched out his hand for her to take it. "You okay?" Hermione slowly nodded and took his hand. "You sure?" She brushed the dust off her clothes. "Yeah. I only hit my head."

Severus nodded and walked over to the cauldrons. His hands stroked the cauldrons and the vials with their rare and odd content. He closed his eyes. Hermione walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. His eyes snapped open and he looked at her. She gave him a small smile and tossed him a big spoon, which he caught with his hands. He gave her a small smile too and handed her the needed ingredients.

They worked together and when the mother-of-pearl sheen-colored potion started to give off perfectly spiraled steam they high-fived. "What do you smell, my dear dungeon bat?" Hermione asked.

Severus smirked slightly. "Mandarines, old books and a campfire. You?"

Hermione blinked. Her shampoo smelled like mandarines.

Severus frowned. "What do you smell?"

"Uh..old parchment, a campfire too and.." She stopped.

Oh. My gosh.

She started to breath fast and she immediately got goosebumps.

Severus waved his hands in front of her face. "Earth to Hermione? What's the last thing you smell?"

When she didn't reply, he frowned deep. "Is something wrong?"

Hermione swallowed. "No. No.. nothing's wrong." Severus raised an eyebrow, but didn't question further.

Hermione had just placed the herbs she couldn't place the first time she smelled them.

Severus.

That was what they smelled like.

Her Amortentia smelled like Severus.

His Amortentia smelled like her hair.

They both smelled a campfire.

And that her Amortentia smell had changed into his scent would probably mean that they were soulmates.

Oh fûck.
