Hermione stared at the water.

It was dark outside, and so was the Lake. It was completely quiet. There was no motion and no sound. Hermione sat on a large stone with a lot of moss, making it very soft. There could easy lay two people on it.

The branches of the weeping willow standing next to the Lake rocked gently back and forth on the wind. Occasionally a leaf fell down, causing a lot of wrinkles immediately.

The place where Hermione sat was very hard to find, so she was happy she had found this place one time. There was a very small, hidden path that lead to it, but it was almost invisible. And the weeping willow barricaded the sight of the place for other people. It was like a huge camouflage tent.

Hermione sighed and lay down on her stone. She stared at the stars. Tonight was one of those nights when there were thousands of them. They twinkled all the time. They looked so happy.

Hermione wanted to clear her thoughts. Many things had happened today. Now she thought about it, they all had to do with Snape. Quidditch had been so much fun with him. He had even admitted it. Then Ginny flew into her and Snape had gave Ginny detention. Then Snape had took care of her. And he cared for her. Then she gave that god-damm speech and after that he had bought her to the Prince room, where nobody knew of.

Hermione didn't know what time it was, but it couldn't be later then nine pm because the sun had not that long ago vanished. Today was a weird day. But it was a beautiful night.

Hermione was so in thoughts she didn't see the dark haired wizard in black whom she was thinking about, silently entering the path. He strode over to her. He watched her for a minute or two before sitting down beside her. She abruptly turned her head to her right, but relaxed when she saw it was him. "What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"I can ask you the same."

Hermione sighed and watched the stars twinkle. "Wanted to clear my thoughts." She said. She looked back at Severus. "What are you doing here? I thought Ginny had detention with you?"

"She had. It has just ended."

For a couple of minutes there was silence between student and teacher. Then Hermione spoke. "It's a beautiful night, isn't it?"

 "Inde-"

 "Why do you came here?"

"I always come here when I want to think."

"Oh. Sorry if I disturb your thinking." She said. "Do I disturb you?" She asked.

"Not at all." He said.

Well, that was lying. It disturbed him that he could only think about her. And that he didn't know why he cared for her. And why she knew about, what she called, the Prince room. Did she knew who was the owner?

She was the reason he wanted to think.

"How do you know about that 'Prince room' of yours?" He asked her. Probably she just bumped into the room, he thought.

"Well, I got. lost." She grinned.

Severus shook his head.

"I dropped my books on that table and it opened. I figured out how it worked and now I come there often."

See. Severus thought. Just bumped into it.

"It's pretty smart, the way how the painting opens."

"But?" Severus asked, knowing she wasn't ready with her story. Such an insufferable know-it-all.

"But it could better. I mean, it's not so clever. Press the table and open the painting. Anyone could do better." She said.
