"Berly, you're gonna kill yourself at this rate" Luke said

"I care less, I'm not going to allow that b*tch lay hands on what my mother laboured for

"Your friend you mean" Luke said passing her a file while Kimberly gave him a death glare

"She'll never lay her filthy hands on what belongs to me" Kimberly said typing something on her system

"Ricardo must have a reason for getting married to her berly" Luke said

"To hell with those reasons, she's a manipulative b*tch, why can't anyone see that?" Kimberly said angrily

"So what do you plan on doing?" Luke asked

"Get back at her in a way that hurts the most, i don't give a damn if she's married to my dad or not, she's just after his money" Kimberly said

"How sure are you?" Luke asked staring at her

"You know me Luke i don't make baseless allegations, my dad has few years to retire, her plan is to become the next CEO which I would not permit" Kimberly said

"What do you want me to do?" Luke asked

"Trail her, monitor her every move and report any suspicious activities to me" Kimberly said

"Sure, I'll be on my way now, and by the way the Railings's are having their ball next weekend, have you heard about it?"
Luke said standing up

"Nope, i really have no time for balls now" Kimberly said

"This isn't the Kimberly I know" Luke said

"People do change" Kimberly said rolling her eyes at him

"You have no choice here Kimberly" Luke said

"And why is that?" Kimberly said raising her brow

"We're having a partnership with them have you forgotten?"
Luke asked

"Shit shit, I totally forgot" Kimberly said remembering

"See what I'm talking about, you're now the shadow of yourself" Luke said

"Whatever, i need an assistant to help me out"
Kimberly said standing up from her desk

"I can get you one" Luke said

"Send the applicant over" Kimberly said as she tidied her desk

"Where are you going?" Luke asked raising his brow

"It's six, I'm done for today"

"I should drop you home then" Luke said

"Hell not home, and I'm not going home, Amigos opened a branch here last month and I'm yet to check it out" Kimberly said picking up her bag

"Now that's what I'm talking about"  Luke said smirking

"I'm going on an official visit Luke" Kimberly said as both she and Luke walked out of her office

"An official visit at six, babe" Luke said smirking at her

"If your girlfriend should find out you're flirting with me you're as good as gone Luke"

"Aren't you my girl?" Luke asked playfully

"So you wish" Kimberly said walking over to her car

"Stay safe sweety and use the C if you must go down" Luke yelled after her

"You're nut Luke, I'll call you" Kimberly said before entering her car.

Going home wasn't something she enjoyed doing again, Mariana was making life difficult for her, the only place she found solace in was in the club or bar, listening to songs, watching people dance did the magic for her. Pulling over at the parking lot, she got down and made her way inside, the queue was quite long but she showed her id card and was allowed into the VIP section. Studying each details as she walked in, it was beautifully designed and only a professional could do it. The VIP section wasn't filled with people and boring for her so she decided to have a look around, there was a bar at the far left and a hall way at the right, the hall way led to a room which was divided into parts and there was a balcony at the end of the room, a covered one where you could see the people at the regular but they won't see you.

"Hey pretty"
Dylan said almost making her lose her balance

"Gosh you scared me"
Kimberly said after catching her breath

"My apologies"
Dylan said bowing like a gentle man

"Sure"
Kimberly said

"I'm Dylan Rashford, the owner of this prestigious club"
Dylan said stretching out his hand

"I'm Kimberly, Kimberly Bridge" Kimberly said taking his hand

"Ohh, you're the famous Kimberly Bridge"
Dylan said

"In flesh and blood" Kimberly said smiling.
Off course she knew what he meant, after she ditched her father's wedding all the tabloids were after her but she didn't care, It was her life after all.

"Dylan how lo.... Miguel said but stopped half way when he saw Kimberly, Kimberly also was shocked seeing him

"What is he doing here?"
Kimberly asked Dylan

"Chill sweetheart, he's my friend, Miguel Corera,i assume you both have met"
Dylan said smiling which made Kimberly blush a little but she quickly hid It

"Unfortunately yes"
Kimberly said

"Unfortunately"
Miguel chuckled going closer to where they were standing by the balcony
"it didn't seem like that to me"

"Don't be too confident Mr Corera, if i had had a choice I would never had stayed with you but what can I say, I was drunk so I wasn't conscious" Kimberly said making Dylan chuckle this time around

"You should try and please me, miss Bridge"
Miguel said smirking

"And why if I may ask?" Kimberly asked raising her brow

"Considering we'll be working together"
Miguel said which confused Kimberly

"And why would we work together?" Kimberly asked getting impatient

"You're in partnership with the Railings right"
Miguel said patiently knowing that she was getting pissed off

"What has that got to do with you?" Kimberly snapped at him cos she really hate discussing about her company with people

"He's the CEO of the Railings sweetheart" Dylan said as Kimberly looked on in shock.
