Exactly one week after the fan sign event, the doctor decided that I could be discharged. Yes!
So I spent the next few days recovering at home, free of work and chores. Even when I wanted to help myself to something, mum would yell at me for moving about.
It was really rare of her to warn me not to do anything at home, because 90% of the time, I take care of house duties and our three meals.
This morning before she left house for work, I stood by the door to send her off.
"Don't do anything while I'm at work, okay sweetie?"
"Yes mummmm, I heard you already." I mumbled.
When she meant 'don't do anything', she meant literally not to do ANYTHING. No cooking, no cleaning, no going out. Just sitting at home and wishing for my speedy recovery.
"Just watch some TV and oh, check your email. Maybe they replied you." She pointed out.

Actually, I've just graduated from college of the Arts. I am now unemployed, but seeking for a full time job. Jas and I are, in fact. Not only were we childhood friends, we were classmates as well. We practically spent our lives together since we were young, so she was as precious as a sister to me. Time to time, she'd come to my place for a sleepover, or I'd go to hers.
We share anything and everything with each other. That's how tight we are.
The best part was falling for the same Kpop group, EXO. She has Baekhyun to go crazy about, and I have Jong Dae.
Speaking of him, I still have his number saved in my cell phone. Every night before I went to bed, I would just stare at his contact like it's the most precious thing ever.
It is weird as it sounds, but I would casually wonder in my mind how he's doing.
If he was eating well, sleeping well...If he had a rough day or a good day... if, just a small if, I had ever crossed his mind too.
Argh, stop it Minzi.
All these wishful thinking...

I was engulfing my sweet mangoes mum bought in the morning when I heard my cellphone ring.
It's JAKE!
"Dude!" I beamed as soon as I picked up the call.
"Hi Minzi...miss me?"
"Of course! Dude you're overseas 99% of the time!"
"Hey I'm sorry I couldn't be around when you were hospitalised...Jas didn't inform me and I had no idea..."
He sounded really sorry.
"Jake, it's alright. No biggie. It's not like you'd fly back just to see me." I chuckled.
"Don't say that! I totally would!"
"If you're being serious then I'm even more thankful you weren't notified." I smiled.
"Hey!" Jake groaned, "anyway...you're home right?"
"Yup."
"Come outside, I'm at your door."
