Minzi's POV

I closed the door behind me, and in my light footsteps, I skipped out of the house on a positive note that today was going to be another good day!

As I paced further down the street, I kept asking myself if I had forgotten something...

People began staring at me and whispering amongst themselves, making me feel conscious about it.

I'm definitely missing something, am I not?

I wrecked my head trying to figure out what exactly I had missed, but nothing came to mind until I reached the bus stop. Then it hit me.

I forgot to take my mask! Shoot!

As soon as I realized, I spun around and sprinted back home to retrieve it.

You ask, why do I need it?

Not because I became a star, but because I had become a dating partner of a star. People began recognizing me as 'EXO Chen's girlfriend'.

News had broken out all over social media announcing the relationship about Jongdae and I, so privacy hasn't been in my dictionary for the past week. I hope it would die down soon though, people would get sick of this kind of things, right?

When I arrived back home, I swiftly fetched a piece of mask and left again. Staring down at my watch, I gasp when I realized that I was way behind time.

I'm going to miss my bus! Shoot! Shooot!

I sprinted the second time, all the way until my feet brought me to the same bus stop once again, but it was useless after all. My eyes blatantly shot lasers at the sight of my departed bus.

Okay, I missed it.

Now I need to wait for another 20 minutes. I'm doomed, I'm going to be late. Maybe I should take a cab. But cabbing is really costly here...

I plunged into an empty corner of the bench, ending off with a heavy sigh. The day barely started and I feel drained from this morning exercise already. I scooped out my phone and drafted a message to Jas.

To Jas:
Sorry Jassie, I'm going to be late today. Can you cover my class for 15 minutes?

I was about to hit send until I noticed a ravishing white BMW stopping in front of me. When the windows wind down, I instantly jumped when I spotted our lovely Jas inside.

"Hey! Get in! Hurry!"

I didn't hesitate one bit and accepted her offer, inviting myself into the back seat of the lavish-looking car.

"Whoa I was just about to text you to tell you that I-"

I stopped talking when my eyes doomed on to the person in the driver's seat.

Yes, it's no other than Byun Baekhyun.

"You again?" I snorted, pretending to sound disappointed.

I see him roll his eyes through the rear-view mirror and he retaliated.

"Not that I want to offer you this ride... I was forced to - OUCH!"

Jas slapped him on his thigh and grinned at me mischievously.

"Anything for my bestie okay?"

"Thank you sweetie," I winked at her flirtatiously.
