Minzi's POV
She came running out of the room, stopping by the door and calling my name.
"Zii!"
Oh no. What am I suppose to tell her for being here?
I was watching you?
No, hold on. I came because I was concerned. That's right.
"Jas, I'm here because i thought you'd be here too, I wasn't spying on you or anyth-"
"Zii!!!" She cried out to me again, but this time with a huge smile on her face. She threw herself at me and wrapped me in a tight hug.
Oh this girl, so unpredictable!
"Jas!" I acknowledged and hugged her back in return.
"Were you looking for me the whole day?"
"Yeah. I'm glad I found you here."
"God I'm so sorry, Zii... I've been such an inconsiderate bitch..."
"It's okay, Jas. As long as you're okay." I pat her back.
At least I know she's okay. While she still clung onto me, my eyes trailed to the shadow a few steps behind her.
BYUN BAEKHYUN.
"But Jas..." I started.
"Hmm?"
"What's he doing here...?" I shamelessly pointed at him, and he heard me very clearly.
He stood there awkwardly, waiting for Jas to respond.
She pulled away from me and turned to look at him.
"Yeah... I... don't know why either..." she frowned and scratched the back of her head, pointing her nose in his direction even though she was speaking to me.
We both eyed Baekhyun cluelessly. The torturing silence filled the air until it was too hard for him to bear, so he finally spoke up.
"Why'd you think I'm here for? For Jas of course!" He defended himself.
"Jas...?" I repeated. Not Jasmine?
"Ever since when were you two acquaintances?" I questioned.
WHAT'S GOING ON THAT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT!
"Well...I guess we're acquainted from... the past half an hour?" She muttered, sounding so unsure. I watched as she turned towards Baekhyun giving him eye signals. Their signals in which I'm too lost out of it to interpret.
"Yyyyyeah," Baekhyun dragged on, still eyeing Jas.
Are they telepathic or something?
"You know! Jongdae's REALLY lonely right now... you kinda ditched him the whole day..." Baekhyun directed his attention to me suddenly.
"What? I left because you guys were supposed to accompany him today..." I frowned and laid out the facts for him.
Coming to think of it, why is he here? I left Jongdae today because I was assured that they were going to stay and take care of him. But seeing Baek in front of me now raised my doubts.
