Jelsa - Breaking The Ice

~Chapter Two~

Okay, so I had a chapter ready for you guys, but (being the genius I am) forgot to save, so bear with me!

Elsa's POV

I walk into chemistry and am dismayed to see that everyone is in pairs.
"Oh! You must be our new student!
What's your name?" the teacher asks.
"Elsa."
"Your full name."
"Elsa of A-" I start but then remember Anna and I are using a different last name. What did Kai say it was? "Winters."
"Pleasure to meet you Miss Winters,"
"The pleasure is mine," I smile.
"Now go sit by... Jack."
"Are you su-"
"Go sit by Jack Miss Winters."
"Yes ma'am," I sigh.
I slide onto the stool next to Jack, dumping my bag on the floor next to me.
Our teacher begins to tell us about a project we'll be doing.
"You will need to work with your partner outside of school."
"So Elsa, can I come over today?" Jack asks.
"No!" I say quickly.
"Why not?"
"Because you can't!" I tell him, thinking of Olaf.
"Fine. Why are you always so proper? And what's with the dress? And the gloves?"
I don't say anything.
"Elsa?"
"Can't we do it at your house?"
"Fine."
After what seems like hours, the bell rings.

Jack's POV

"It's this way," I point as Elsa and I walk toward my house.
We walk in silence until we get to my house. I open the door and Elsa and I go in.
I motion for Elsa to sit on the couch and she perches on the edge, her back perfectly straight.
"Okay, so for the project..."

Elsa's POV

"I have to leave."
"Okay. Just one thing. Why do you always wear gloves?" Jack asks.
I don't answer.
"Why do you push everyone away?" he continues, giving me a huge sense of déjà vu. I grab my bag and go toward the door.
Jack jumps forward and yanks off one of my gloves. I can feel the room get a bit cooler. I clench my fist. Conceal. Don't feel.
"Give me my glove!" I reach for it and rip it from his grasp.
I whirl around and slam the door behind me.
