A/N: the chapter is kinda long, so I hope you enjoy!

Now on with the story.

I stare down at my shoes, which are surprisingly dry from today's recent event.

     Fuck my life.

The door swings open, and in walks a girl. I'm guessing she's a freshman by her delicate face. She stares at me in surprise before turning away and walking into one of the bathroom stalls.

I turn back to my reflection in front of me. My blonde hair has gone a shade darker after being splashed with water. My lips are quivering from the cold, and my eyes seem tired as hell.

I look down at my outfit for the 6th time, thanking the heavens that my jeans didn't even get a drop of water. My shirt though is damp and cold.

The door swings open again, and this time it's Jade.

"Oh god, what happened?" She asks, jogging over to my side.

I shrug my shoulders. "I was minding my own business and ended up losing my dignity."

"Aw, I'm sorry," Jade says, wrapping her arms around my wet figure. "I should've been there."

I pat her back and let out a sigh. "It's okay. I'm a big girl, Jade."

She chuckles at my statement and pulls away. "I wish I had some extra clothes, though."

I look down at my top. "It's fine. It's only my shirt that got wet anyway."

She gives me a weak smile. "Well, luckily you're wearing black."

     I nod my head.

"I heard it was the guys from the football team," she says, running her fingers through her dark hair.

"I don't really give a fuck about who it was," I say, shrugging my shoulders yet again. "Let's just go."

We walk out the door, and I find myself staring at light brown eyes.

     "I-Ivy."

"Hey, Alex," I greet him, trying not to seem tired.

He actually seems exhausted himself as he struggles to catch his breath and hands me a gray hoodie. "You can wear it," he tells me.

I stare at it, and then back at him. "For real?"

He nods his head. "And afterward we need to work on my art club project."

     "Oh, okay," I mumble.

"Uh, my dad is waiting for me," Jade says. "Bye, Ivy."

She gives me a hug before leaving us alone.

"I'll go change," I tell Alex.

I walk back into the bathroom and into one of the stalls. I lift off my damp shirt and slide into Alex's warm hoodie. Damn, I wanna keep it.

After picking up my bag from the cafeteria, which was where I left it before getting attacked with buckets of water, I walk with Alex to one of the art rooms.

"Here we are," he sighs, setting his back beside the wall. "You can just pose like you did last time and I'll get to work."

"Got it," I say, walking over to the wall on the other side.
