have you ever wanted to run away,
just pack up your bags,
and leave before anybody wakes up,
pick a direction,
a place,
a person,
and go,
get on a bus,
or a plane,
or drive away,
leave behind all your problems,
leave behind everything you know,
and start anew,
because i do,
but instead of running,
I resolve to stay,
and let my depression consume me,
which in turn,
leaves me with a case of hiraeth,
homesickness,
for a home I can never return to,
one that doesnt even exist,
one that I can almost see over that horizon,
or in that sunset,
or wherever that plane overhead is going,
but if i run now,
who knows what I could miss here,
so i stay.
