(This was written for my girlfriend for our one month anniversary)
One month,
We have been together for one month now,
One month of sharing fandoms,
One month of dorkie flirting,
One month of "I wish you where here",
One month of midnight texts,
One month of supporting one another,
And I know it's still scary,
Knowing somebody else is there,
Knowing somebody will drop whatever they are doing,
Just to answer a text from you,
But our relationship is only just beginning,
And I admit I'm still a little nervous myself,
Every gap between messages,
Always just a little worried you'll get fed up with me,
Every time we are apart,
Wondering if someone better might show up,
But you always reassure me those fears are unfounded,
I'm still not sure why you like me,
I'm an extroverted introvert,
Who gets flustered whenever we are alone,
Because I suck at communicating how I feel,
And I feel strong emotions around you,
Im just lucky to have you,
Despite the distance and our days apart,
Despite us worrying we are forcing the other to do things,
Despite all of that and more,
We are still together,
So happy one month anniversary pretty lady,
And to many more.
