She left her lipstick at my house,
I wear it sometimes,
I think it looks better on me,
But she left it at my house,
The last time she was here,
I wore it the last time I saw her,
I wore the last time we were,
Never more than friends,
But I wanted her to be more,
She left her lipstick at my house,
Because all she leaves behind is her vanity,
She never loved me,
She just loved the attention,
How pretty I made her feel,
She never cared how much I wanted to kiss her,
She just cared how many friends she had,
She never knew how much pain she caused,
She just knew i would never say no to her,
She left her lipstick at my house,
I wish I could say I was the only thing she left behind,
but 12 years of friendship leaves a much bigger scar than that,
Old photographs,
Littering old photo books,
Old notes,
Written to or about her,
Old posts on social media,
Regaling are close Bond,
Old diary entries,
From simpler times,
Before the end,
Clothing we would share,
Toys we would leave,
It's like a war zone,
What she left behind,
She left her lipstick at my house,
She forgot her lipstick at my house,
She forgot her lipstick,
She forgot herself,
She forgot us
