Elphaba knocked on the wooden door of her new dorm at Shiz University, and then realized she had a key. She opened the door and struggled to bring in her bags. Galinda and Elsa watched as a figure emerged dressed in dark, dismal attire, and stumbled into the dorm room. Elphaba turned around, revealing her vibrant, iridescent, and practically glowing green skin. Galinda gasped, and Elsa gave a small shriek. "Miss Galinda of the Upper Uplands, correct? Miss Elphaba of Nest Hardings, Thropp Third Descendng." said Elphaba, ignoring the rude reactions. "I'm your roomie." she stuck out a green hand with long fingers and digustingly black nails. Elsa stared at the strange girl in disgust, and Galinda looked utterly confused, and refused to shake the hand.
"I'm sorry, there must be a mistake. I'm too upper class for roommates. Especially ones with cucumber for DNA."
Elsa snickered, and Elphaba rolled her eyes.
"Well Miss Galinda, I'm afraid you're stuck with this cucumber. But you shouldn't be so judgemental towards others, if you're going to dress like that." Elphaba pointed a finger at Galinda's sunflower yellow dress, which was covered entirely with sequins and studded with A/B crystal. Galinda scoffed.
"Come on Elsa, let's leave avocado here to unpack and get some coffee."
The two girls left and snickered all the way to the buttery. Elphaba sat on her bed and took out her book on Unionism. Her black, straightened hair hid her neon face as she submerged herself into the piece of literature.She tried her best to tune out the comments that she would receive the following few days from Elsa and Galinda, but sometimes it was just too much to handle.
