Chapter 15: Anna's Point of View
Anna had to admit, she was wrong when she said it didn't matter if Elsa came back. Today she turned 19. She would be having a "royal" party at the palace in a few days, but today she was spending the day with (who else?) Kristoff. She loved him like crazy, but honestly, she was ready for a little variety, something to do besides kissing on the couch, cooking together, and training Tardis, the dog. The poor little terrier wasn't exactly an unlimited source of entertainment. Kristoff seemed to read her mind. She had been asking for a while, so Kristoff took her over the mountain and taught her how to climb mountains.
Anna held her breath as she nearly slipped- again. Kristoff laughed slightly. "Hang in there." he climbed down to her level and showed her where to put her foot.
"How do you know every single mountain?" she asked, trying to hold on to her basket containing two sandwiches and one little dog.
"Actually, this on'es new to me," he admitted, "I've never been this far out before. I thought maybe we could camp out and find our way back in the morning." he smiled at her. "A little adventure, just you, me, and Tardis." she smiled back.
"Sounds good to me."
"Then that's what we'll do." after about another hour, they reached the top. Kristoff congratulated Anna with a kiss on the cheek.
"I have to admit, I'm impressed you could do that!" Anna playfully put her hands on her hips.
"So you doubted me?"
"Well you proved me wrong, didn't you?" he smiled, pushing a strand of red hair that had blown loose from her braids out of her eyes.
"Look- the view up here is almost as beautiful as you are." she blushed a bit and looked around. It really was a nice view. She tried to think of something just as adorable to say to Kristoff, but her train of thought was interrupted by an interesting sight.
"Kristoff, look!" she pointed down the side of the mountain opposite of which they had come. Below them spread out a town, colorful and overflowing with flowers and all sorts of small houses. "What do you suppose that is?"
"I don't know.....maybe it's another country?"
"We should come back here sometime," he said, "but we'd best not cross any borders. Not right now."
"Kristoff, it's okay. I'm the princess, remember?" she smiled and started to anchor her climbing rope.
"Anna, no." he grabbed her hand. "How do you know they'll be friendly? Just because the the town looks like a unicorn puked a rainbow on it doesn't mean they can't be hostile." she sighed.
"Alright. Fine. But we're coming back here someday, right?"
"Someday, yes. But right now let's find a place to sleep, okay?" she smiled
"Okay." so they set up camp on the top of the mountain, unknowing of anything about the country below. But, in fact, this mountainside city had a name and a story that Anna did not yet know, but she would soon be a part of. The city was called Munchkinland, in the country of Oz.
