Week later-

Joe's P.O.V:-

I woke up and turned around the see Aly still asleep, since she's been pregnant she's always slept on her back and sometimes on her side, she used to always sleep on her stomach, feel sorry for her. I got up and made my way to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

I then got out and made my way to my wardrobe to get out some clothing for day- black jeans and a white shirt. I slid on some socks and then went into the kitchen to make some toast for Aly and I. Today the midwife is coming! I'm kind of nervous to what this all is but I guess it's going to be okay.

Aly's P.O.V:-

I woke up and Joe wasn't there, I got out and went straight to the bathroom to do my morning routine then went through to the living room to see Joe setting up breakfast.

"Morning" I yawned.

"Morning baby, you sleep well?" He asked.

"Yes" I smiled, I gave him a quick kiss and sat with him up to the little table.

Last week Joe built some of the baby stuff in the room, he cleaned up everything out of the spare room like his computer etc and stuck it in the small space near the living room. Joe painted a wall a darker shade of baby blue and built the cot and changing mat stand and a small vanity. We just need to put a little more in the room, Joe got a toy box the other day and put it in the corner of the room, only a few toys like baby toys. As we don't need any big ones yet! Only less than 2 months before Noah is born!

"Thanks Joe" I smiled as we both are our toast.

"Welcome, the midwife is coming in an hour!" Joe said.

"Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me" I said.

I got up and went to our room to brush my hair, I put it up into a neat pony tail, with a damp flannel I cleaned myself and got changed into some new maternity clothes, which they are so comfy.

I went back out to see Joe had cleaned some things up, I walked over giving him a hug and a big kiss,

"Love you" I smiled.

"I love you too" Joe said, he leaned down giving me a peck on the lips.

Then the door went, Joe walked over and what looked like the midwife came through, she looked really pretty and she seemed really nice!

"Hello, Mrs and Mr sugg! I am Judy your midwife call me Dr Hills but when home visiting Judy will be fine" she introduced herself, I shook her hand and so did joe, we all went through to the table as Joe laid out some snacks.

"Can I get you anything Judy?" Joe asked.

"Um, no thank you!" She smiled.

Joe got some water and placed it in front of him. We all sat around the table as she gathered all her paperwork and folders.

"So this is nothing bad, but midwife like me will visit or sometimes people would prefer to come into the doctor surgery and talk there, but it's just a check up and to see how things are really..." she trailed off, "but nothing to worry about!" She smiled, Joe and I nodded taking in what she said.

"So what type of birth are you looking at..." she asked as she looked up from the forms.

"In hospital" I smiled.

"Okay! Well you will have some people take good care of you! You will be in safe hands Mrs sugg" she smiled and I just nodded.

"So the due date is coming up in the next month and a half.." she trailed off, "I will be there to check up on you, have you guys sorted anything out for the baby boy? Like recourses" she asked.

"Yes we had done most of it!" Joe mentioned and she smiled writing something down.

"Okay, well congratulations guys! Have you thought of any names?" She asked.

"We are going for Noah" I smiled.

"That's a beautiful name" Judy said.

Joe nodded and drank his water, I rested my hand on his upper thigh. He turned to me with a smile.

"Well that's all I needed to check up on, apart from who will be in the room with you?" She asked.

"Just Joe.." I trailed off.

"Yeah" Joe agreed.

"Okay, do you have any questions?" She asked.

"No I think we have got everything" I said.

"Okay,If you need anything please make sure to ring up!" She mentioned, Joe and I nodding.

Couple hours later she left after sorting out the whole birth thing and what I could get during pregnancy like the pros and cons and also an needle to relief pain. (Can't spell it 😂 so not gonna put it)

"That was good" Joe smiled as he walked over to hug me.

"It was" I grinned.

"We are basically ready any moment for you Noah" Joe spoke to my stomach.

He makes me happy, life is just really exciting right now. Apart from me being exhausted most times.
