Harley pulls at the black mask over her face for what feels like the hundredth time since she put it on - which was ten minutes ago. She hears a chuckle beside her and immediately flips the perpetrator off in annoyance. It was hot and here she was with a damn mask over her face, hair sticking to her and the fabric slightly blocking her vision.
"There's the guy. Let's go." Brian instructs the group. Everyone was here to help out - excluding Mia because of the bun in her oven. It had been a good idea to give Brian control over this whole little operation since he has experience with being a cop. Dom sneaks up on a man about to enter the cash house, holding a gun to his back and instructing him to act normal. Obviously, there was no intention to actually shoot the guy. They just needed a way inside. The team gathered out of sight on either side of the door just as it opened, Dom pushing the guy inside and head butting the person who'd opened the door. He's quickly followed in by the team and they begin rounding the workers up, ignoring the scantily dressed women screaming, before grabbing the money and placing it in the centre of the room.
"Eyes on the money, Rome." Harley nudges the man beside her as he not so subtly checks out the woman cowering on the ground in front of them. He clears his throat awkwardly and she lets out a laugh in response.
"You're a dead man. You're all dead! You don't have a place to hide." The 'boss' of this cash house starts shouting, not fazing anyone in the slightest. They know exactly what they're up against.
"We ain't hiding." Dom speaks up from in front of the man, pulling off his mask. His eyes flicker to the relieved face of his wife as she takes her own off with everyone else. It very nearly makes him break the intimidating state he's in. Harley lets out a breath once the mask is off and on the ground, ruffling her hair so it isn't as flat. Rome grabs at her forearm with wide eyes.
"That is loaded weapon you're waving around." He reminds her and she rolls her eyes playfully, showing him the safety is on.
"Are you crazy? Do you know who's house this is? Whose money you're stealing?!" Boss man exclaims and again earns not a single look of fear. The team watches as Dom pulls out a lighter and pours gasoline all over the money.
"We ain't stealing it. You tell your boss exactly who did this, tell him there's more coming." Dom warns, tossing the lighter on the cash and gesturing for everyone to leave. Harley strolls over to her husband as everyone gets into their own cars, flashing him a smile once they're inside.
"I really wish you'd stay with Mia when everything goes down." He tells her and she gives him a look."There's no way I'm missing out on the action, Dom. You know me better than to think I would." Harley responds casually and he lets a smile show at her stubbornness. It's something he either loves or hates. He definitely hates it when she refuses to stay away from danger. His wife is too prideful sometimes and can't stand the thought of anyone seeing her as a damsel that constantly needs protecting. She's a fan of proving just how kick ass she can be. Even when there's no need.
"I do." The elder Toretto tells her. They sit in silence for a little bit before Harley turns to face him again.
"How do you really feel about Brian? And don't even think about lying." She instructs him, seeing his eyes come off the road to look over at her.
"I mean, this time last year you probably still hated his guts for what he did to our family. Now you're well on the way to having him as your brother in law." She points out and his brows furrow slightly.
