It didn't take long for Harley to find somewhere hidden to park up before she walked up to Elena's home, staying in the shadows as she walked through the favellas. Several people gave her odd looks - mothers stood outside for air with their children in their arms. The sight made Harley smile. Soon enough though, she was outside the darkened home and managed to break in with ease. The favellas homes weren't exactly the most secure...and Charlie had also taught her how to pick locks. The more the blonde thinks about it, the more she can see he really is a bad influence. Not that it fazes her.

She doesn't make the rookie mistake of turning on the lights and leaving the door unlocked. Instead, she locks it back and makes her way through the darkness, finding an armchair in the corner of the room. Yes, she'd stubbed her toe en route to it but at least she now had somewhere to wait patiently until Elena came back from the station. Harley knew she was playing a risky game here - Elena could somehow apprehend the blonde, have her in cuffs and in front of Hobbs. But she also doubted that would happen, Harley wasn't weak so she could easily fight right back. Something told her she wouldn't need to fight the cop. With a sigh, she leans back in the chair. All she needs is that necklace, then she can get back to the warehouse and carry on with the job.

About fifteen minutes later, though it felt like an eternity, Harley hears the door open and stays as quiet as she can. Her blue eyes follow Elena as she switches on a couple of lights - barely lighting the home - and moves through the home. The cop drapes her over shirt on a chair and places her badge and gun on the side. The blonde woman hidden in the corner doesn't miss her hesitation though so she isn't surprised when Elena spins on the spot and points the gun in her direction. Harley only raises her hands to show she doesn't have any weapons of her own on her.

"Relax. I'm not here to kill you or anything. I'm not some diabolical villain." Harley assures her, laughing to herself a little before rising out of the seat slowly. The gun never wavers though.
"Trust me, if I wanted you dead then you would be. But I don't. Why don't you try putting the gun down?" She suggests, raising her brows.

"Then what are you doing here?" Elena asks, slowly lowering the gun but watching the criminal in her home carefully.

"I came back for my necklace. I want it back." There was an unsaid warning lingering within Harley's words. As though daring the Portuguese woman to deny her her request. It was clear just in Harley's eyes alone how much that necklace meant to her. She didn't just want it back. She needed it. Elena lifts it over her head but keeps it in her hand.

"I don't understand. Why come here? Why risk it all for twenty dollars worth of silver?" Harley's gaze goes from the necklace to the woman's face.

"Because it's worth it. That necklace has been with me through a lot - helped me when I was at my lowest. The most important person in my life gave me that." She speaks softly, Dom entering her mind immediately, recalling the day he gave it to her.
"You're not gonna arrest me, Elena." She adds on, taking a step closer.

"Dom is your husband." Elena concludes and gets a nod in response.

"Yeah, he is." Harley says, glancing at the wall nearest the pair and frowning slightly. A picture of a man in an officer's uniform. A shrine almost - smaller pictures scattered around the table under of this man and Elena.
"You were married." The Toretto concludes this time and Elena smiles fondly at the picture.

"I still am." She counters strongly.
"My husband was killed right on our doorstep. I didn't know pain like it before. But I used it to do something - joined the police force." Elena explains and Harley looks down sadly, not even wanting to imagine losing Dom.
