Harley wouldn't say it's a great big fear of hers, there are worse things out there. She became unnerved when she was in a plane with turbulence, God help the hand of her companion, but apart from that she was fine. Driving out of a plane with only a parachute guiding her to the ground? Terrifying. A physical sign of her nerves is a tapping sound that bounces off the interior of the car as she bounces her leg anxiously, her boot connecting with the floor in a steady beat.
The plane shakes and the car jolts to the side slightly, making the blonde's hand fly over to the fellow blonde at her side.
"Relax, we'll be out of here before you know it." Brian assures her, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles comfortingly. Words couldn't describe how grateful she is for finding another brother, blood or not, in Brian.
"That's what I'm scared of." Harley breathes out, looking around the cargo hold of the plane. Tej seems content enough playing a game on his phone, Roman sits muttering to himself and Charlie's sitting with his eye closed while his lips move to a song she can't hear. Dom is right at the front so he can go first, Letty in the car just after.
"Hey Roman, you freaking out, ain't you?" Tej suddenly chimes in over the radio and the two of them instinctively look towards the dark skinned man shifting uncomfortably in his car.
"No." Roman tells him without missing a beat, his tone similar to that of a child. I'm fact, Harley knows she's heard that same tone coming out of Amelia.
"Yeah you are." Tej draws out, the smile can just be heard on his voice.
"I said no."
"Listen man, it takes a grown man to embrace his feelings. If you need to cry then just go ahead and cry." Tej gives him some insincere words of reassurance, making the two blondes laugh from behind them. "As your friend you know I'm concerned about your wellbeing, which is why I took the precaution of putting some adult diapers in your glove compartment." He adds on.
"I love them." Harley vocalises. She says it a lot, but the friendship between Rome and Tej will never cease to make her laugh.
"Can you just chill out, man?" Roman snaps in annoyance.
"I've seen some crazy shit, Dom, but this really could make some waves. So let's just keep it as low key as possible, huh?" Mr Nobody radios in to them. Harley and Brian share a look of amusement - subtly wasn't exactly their nature.
"Don't I always?" Dom chuckles.
"Do you want low key or do you want the job done?" Harley asks the man with raised brows, a smile tugging at her lips. "Come on, Mr Nobody, you know us by now." She tuts in a faux scolding manner, hearing him also chuckle on the other side.
