There'll be a lot of time jumps in this chapter because of Harley leaving and me needing to put her in scenes that seem natural and necessary to me.

One year later...

Amelia followed her mother around the bedroom with a wide smile on her face, giggling whenever she drops something on the floor. To which Harley just looks over at her daughter in amusement. The Toretto was currently packing for her trip to Tokyo in a few hours, she'd decided it was about time Han got a family visit and she also wanted to talk to him more than she'd gotten chance to whenever he was at the house. The team would get together sometimes and it came as no surprise that the guys all congregated together whilst the girls stayed inside. Harley often laughed at how things now were; before Amelia was born, she would've been with the guys. Though she's determined to get back to that when her daughter gets old enough.

It didn't come as a huge shock when Harley said she'd be visiting Han. She'd gotten better and better at not having a breakdown when she left Amelia and she knew this trip wasn't going to last for an excessive amount of time. Besides, she'd call every single day. This trip was well overdue and she was glad she'd organised it in the many phone calls she had with the expert drifter.

"Mommy go away?" Amelia suddenly asks, eyeing the bag carefully as her mother fires clothes in there. The blonde woman stops what she's doing to look over at her daughter, crouching down to her level.

"I'm going to see Uncle Han. Are you gonna be a good girl for daddy?" Harley asks hopefully since the two year old hadn't particularly been on her best behaviour recently. They don't call them terrible twos for nothing. Amelia nods with a grin.
"I'll bring you something back though. What do you want?" The blonde haired girl practically bounces off the walls in excitement.

"Toys!" She shouts out.

"A toy it is then." Harley nods, eyes widening when her daughter frowns.

"No. Toys." The child demands with folded arms. Her mother looks at her in amusement, seeing much of herself in her child.

"Alright. Toys." Harley relents.

"Lunch is ready!" The pair are interrupted by Mia calling up the stairs.

"Come on, trouble, let's go eat." Harley puts her arms out for Amelia to run into, hoisting her up onto her hip. Although the little girl could be okay walking down the stairs with supervision, Harley worried a lot so always ended up carrying her down the stairs. Going up was okay as long as someone was behind her but going down just gave her mother anxiety. The two blonde Torettos appear in the kitchen, greeting everyone else with a smile. Dom doesn't take long to walk over to his wife and daughter, planting a kiss on both their foreheads.

"Now that is the face of someone who didn't listen to my advice." Brian comments with a smug smile when Harley takes a seat beside him after putting Amelia in a high chair. The blonde flips him off discreetly with a sarcastic smile whilst the ex cop chuckles. Last time, it was Brian flipping Harley off and her daughter just so happened to be in the room. After seeing her uncle's behaviour, she quickly replicated it which stunned both blondes. They agreed not to tell Mia or Dom and to not swear or do any other rude gestures so obviously around the kids.
"I told you to pack earlier. And now you're stressing out." He points out.

"Yeah, yeah but I didn't listen. So you can either gloat or help me pack." Harley retorts, sipping on her apple juice.

"Why not both?" Brian asks, earning himself a kick to the shin.

"You're both acting more like kids than your own children." Mia tells the two with a warning stare, making them both shut up.

"RaceWars is on while I'm out of town, right?" Harley suddenly asks, looking at the adults in the room. Though it isn't really a question, she knows exactly when the event is considering they'd invented it.
