MUST READ!...

I really hate to begin on a negative note but I feel like it's kind of needed. So I'm super grateful for everyone who reads and votes for this book - words can't describe how happy I am with people liking my story. However, I don't really appreciate constant notifications coming through to tell me I should update for reason x, y and z. This doesn't apply to everyone who comments to update now and again.

I'm sure you can understand that even though I'm a writer on here, I have a life off the app as well. At the moment, I'm doing my A Level work (you'll understand if you're in England) so I don't always have time to update every day or every other day. I try and update when I can, even giving multiple updates at a time if I haven't uploaded in a while. I'm working on a schedule but if people, metaphorically, are breathing down my neck then it sort of puts me off.

Yet again, this doesn't apply to everyone and I have no issues with people telling me they'd like an update. But when it's a constant thing, and I've already replied, then it's overbearing. I am really sorry for starting off on a negative note, I really do love all my readers and here's the chapter....

"I feel like we should have called ahead." Harley pipes up as she steps out of Dom's Dodge Challenger, looking over at her husband. They'd just arrived at Mia and Brian's place, Harley noticed Brian tense up straight away at the sight of an unrecognisable car. The two sets of couples hadn't seen much of each other since Rio, they'd mostly just been settling in their new homes and enjoying life away from cops and all. Harley smiles widely as Mia comes into view, her stomach significantly larger than the last time they saw each other. The younger Toretto was coming closer and closer to her due date now and everyone was beyond excited. Harley couldn't wait to be an aunt and spoil her niece or nephew.

"How have you guys been?" Brian asks, hugging Harley as Dom pulls his sister into a hug.

"The quiet life's nice. What about you guys? Excited for little O'Connor?" Harley asks as Mia comes over to hug her.

"I can't wait. Mia's kinda scaring me right now." Brian comments, scratching at the back of his neck and making the two women laugh. Though when Dom chuckles, Brian points a finger in his direction.
"You won't be laughing when it happens to you." He points out, making everyone laugh more.

"Jokes on you, I already scare him." The blonde woman retorts, winking at her husband.
"Now, you boys do whatever. I'm in need of some girl time." She orders them, taking Mia by the hand and walking back down to the beach with her, the sand warm on their feet from the sun above them. They take a seat in two chairs, looking out at the water.

"How's married life treating you?" Mia asks her sister, turning away from the waves and looking at the blonde beside her.

"It's amazing, Mia. Everything's perfect..." She trails off, a slightly frown on her face.

"But..." Mia encourages her to go on. Harley turns to face the pregnant woman, looking somewhat bothered.

"But I can't help but feel like it's too perfect. All I've wanted is for Dom and I to be able to be together with no issues. And now we've got it I just can't help but feel like something's about to mess that up for us. Paranoia does wonders to the brain." She mutters the last part, running her hand through her hair.

"Harls, it's completely understandable. You haven't stopped for over five years, haven't been stress free. When our dad died, you were stressed out because you had to balance helping us and being there for your mom like you always are. When Dom was in jail, you were more than overwhelmed but soldiered through it. Then there was the truck robberies and Brian. Dom left for a five years and it took a major toll on you - even while that was going on, you constantly kept busy to help with money. Going on jobs with Charlie a whole lot. Everything that happened with Letty practically destroyed you. Even when Dom came back, you couldn't relax because he was wanted - then we were wanted for breaking him out. We just got done in Rio. Relaxing is foreign to you right now. As much as you keep telling yourself you love it, a part of you might be worried about what's coming. It'll go away pretty soon, you'll enjoy all of this."
