Chapter 10

Chance's POV

It's like 7:45 in the morning and everyone is still asleep.

Jake came in and woke me up so that we could go to the store and buy things for tonight.

I carefully moved Tess onto the other pillow so I could get up and get dressed.

After waking everyone up, including Nick and Ivan, we loaded into the van and drove to the closest Target.

Once we arrived, Jake and Nick grabbed a shopping cart and we started looking.

At the checkout counter we had 10 circle pool floats, one for everybody. Glow sticks, DVDs, tons of candy and snacks, some steaks, and a case of water.

Tessa's POV

Last night I had asked Chance to sleep with me. I don't have a clue what it is but he makes me feel safe.

When I woke up this morning he was gone along with the other guys. So, me and Rik took this opportunity to have girl time.

We cooked us some eggs and laid out by the lake.

"So what's up with you and Chance?" she asked.
"Oh ya know" I said smiling, "We're just friends."

Not long after sitting outside the guys come home. Me and Rik made sandwiches so we all
would have something to eat down at the dock.

It was our last day so we hung out at the water. A few were floating and the others were fishing. It definitely was a good way to spend the last day.

Later that evening

Dinner was now done and everyone was getting a plate. There was grilled steaks, mashed potatoes, and green beans.

"I think after dinner we should exchange gifts?" Nick said.

Everyone agreed and began eating.

After dinner, we cleaned up and sat in the living room with the gifts.

"Ok I'll go first" I said, "My person was Chad" I continued.

I bought him a rubber alien because ya know 'Don't Come For Me', a portable pizza holder and some glow in the dark toilet paper.

Ivan volunteered to go next, he had Kade. Inside the bag was a camera lens coffee mug, a turtle speaker, and a shirt that says "Big Bear Lake".

Erika had Ivan so she went after. Ivan got a soap bar with money in the middle, a new charger, and small umbrellas for your shoes.

Jake was next, he had me. I got custom made sushi chop sticks, a shirt that said 'Eat Sleep Dance Repeat', and a portable USB humidifier.

After him, Chance said he'd go..he had Emilio. Emilio got webbed fingers made for swimming, socks with sloths on them, and a cheap American flag blanket.

Chad had Anthony. He received a dinosaur taco holder, underwear for your hands, and a face cover to protect you from rain or snow.

Nick went next and he had Erika. She got stress reliever hand lotion, a pair of sunglasses that helps you read when laying down, and a crop top saying 'Can You Not'.

Emilio had Chance. In the bag there was a upside down umbrella, a selfie stick for vlogging, and slippers that pick up dust.

Next was Anthony and he had Jake. There was a bowl that separates your cereal from your milk, a light changing shower head, and a Nutella jar lock.

Last was Kade and he had Nick. He got him pair of suit pajamas, a hair brush that fits around your entire head, and ear plugs for when the house gets too loud.

We all thanked each other then Jake told us to go get out swimsuits on.

Jake's POV

While we were outside cooking, I had some of the guys go blow up the floats and set them to the side.

In the garage, I had found a waterproof projector. We were going to watch movies in the lake!

I was so hyped and I couldn't wait for the girls to see it. This is honestly the best way to end the trip.

After we ate we exchanged gifts. Once everyone had went, I said:

"Ok everyone go get their swim suits on and meet me at the dock."

Before they blew the floats up earlier, we stuck glow sticks in them so they'd light up.

Everything was finally set up. All the snacks were down here and the projector was already up.

"Oh my" Tessa and Erika screamed running down.
"Jake when did you do this?" Erika asked.
"Before dinner" I laughed.

The entire team was now in the lake and ready for the movie.

It was late and everyone was getting ready for bed. We took one last picture together in the cabin before heading home tomorrow.

"Well that's it Jake Paulers, we'll see you tomorrow because, It's Everyday Bruh Peace!" we all say ending my vlog.
