Is Chessa Real?

Chapter 16

Chance's POV

It's the next morning and Tessa and I are the only ones in the house.

Everyone else either went to the gym or downtown LA.

It's pretty cold out today and looks like it's going to rain.

We both decided that we were going to stay in and neither wanted to cook so we ordered breakfast.

While we waited for the bagels to arrive, we turned on the tv and sat on the couch.

About 10 minutes later the same screeching tires were outside with a knock on the door following.

"I'll get it" said Tessa.

I let her go but followed behind just in case. The same dude with charcoal colored hair and blue eyes brought us our food.

"Thank you" Tessa said to the guy.
"Your welcome" he replied looking her up and down.

I stayed behind door watching.

They talked for a good 3 minutes. The guy wouldn't leave and kept asking her questions about the house.

Like what had happened to the front of it and why we had a Team 10 sign on the wall.

It got to were I walked over and wrapped my arm around Tessa's waist to make him leave, well and because I wanted to.

The Uber eats guy finally left and we walked into the kitchen to eat.

It's later in the evening and everyone came home. Today they were pulling pranks on each other.

I was first, they had put laxatives inside my drink. Jake told me whoever drank the water the fastest would get 50 bucks.

I downed it and then a good 30 minutes later it hit me. I had to run to the bathroom.

The pranks continued all night to the point were everyone had been pranked.

We were all sitting on the couch talking to each other when the front door slowly creeped open.

"Alright guys this isn't funny" Erika said looking at Jake.
"I swear this one was not me" he replied.

We all began to get a little worried. It was pouring the rain outside, pitch black, and the front door is wide open.

A few of the guys checked it out while me and the rest stayed back with the girls.

"Nothings out there" they all said.
"If we call the cops there is nothing they can do because we don't have evidence" Kade said.

Well it was one of those nights where we all slept in Nicks room. A few stayed awake watching the security camera and the others went to sleep.

It early in the morning and a figure showed up at the gate.

They walked back in forth in front of it debating whether to jump it.

Nick quickly called the police but as soon as the sirens were heard, they ran away.

We all need out of this state very soon.
