Is Chessa Real?

Chapter 7

Tessa's POV

"We're here!" Jake yelled.

I jumped up and looked over only so realize I was asleep on Chance. Of course I apologized and posted a snap of us.

We pulled up into the driveway and out of no where a huge cabin pops up. When Jake and I rented it, we didn't think it'd be this big.

The entire van is going crazy. Everyone is so hyped and cannot wait to start vacation.

Jake finally parks the van and we all jump out.

The cabin is lake front and a 6 bedroom with a hot tub on the second floor.

On the main level you have a living room, kitchen/dining room, and 2 bedrooms with two twin beds in each.

Chance and Anthony, along with the Martinez twins will probably be in them.

Upstairs there are 3 more. One room with 2 queens beds (Chad & Kade), the second with another two queen beds (Me and Erika), and the third had one king bed (Nick).

Lastly, downstairs was the master bedroom (Jake) with a patio connecting to the deck.

Once you walk out of the master, you have a game room consisting of a pool table, air hockey, and ping pong.

It's already getting late and we all just got settled in. Me, Rik, Jake, and Chance go to the closest store to stock up on food and snacks.

When we got back we marinated chicken and waited for the grill to heat up. The guys were outside cooking while us two girls and Nick were cooking inside, with the occasional help of the boys.

The meal was barbecue chicken with corn, mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes.

When dinner done, we plated it and set down as a family at the table.

After cleaning up, everyone made their way to their laptops to begin editing today's vlog.

With that being said, we all went to bed after uploading them and hanging out for a few hours.

The next day

There was honestly nothing more beautiful than waking up to the sun rising over the lake.

It's really early and I don't know why I'm awake right now, but I decided to start breakfast.

I was cooking bacon when I heard someone walking down the hall. I turn around and there was Chance. 

This is beginning to be a common thing with us. I'll wake up and fix breakfast and then 5 minutes later he is awake and with me.
(I'm not complaining lol)

"Good morning, will you help me?" I ask.
"Good morning, of course I will" he replies.

Chance starts making the eggs while I toast some bread.

Chance's POV

Last night was the first night in Big Bear. The cabin is huge and the lake is so beautiful.

I woke up early once again, only to find Tessa making breakfast. It's like I can sense when she's awake.

"Good morning, will you help me?" She asks.
"Good morning, of course I will" I reply grabbing the eggs.

Tessa walks over to me and wraps her arms around my waist giving me the daily morning hug.

Today was different, we stayed holding each other for a while, or at least until the eggs were cooked.

...

Breakfast was done and everyone in the Team 10 house was awake.

We all made egg sandwiches and went outside to eat. After finishing and washing the dishes, we change into our swim suits and blow up the floats.

Today we didn't have plans besides walking to the lake and swimming. Kade wants to take pictures of us so we brought the bigger floats down.

We had the flamingo, pineapple, and the pizza slices.

For the entire day, we hung out at the lake and got amazing drone footage. The only mistake was no one brought sun screen.

Later that night we built a fire and roasted some hotdogs.

It was getting late and cold but we loved talking to each other. Tessa was sitting on my lap with a blanket wrapped around her.

Everyone knows we flirt with each other so it doesn't bother anyone.

She had fallen asleep on me outside so I picked her up and carried her to her room.

This time I had kissed her forehead before leaving. 

"You really like her, don't you?" 
I turned around quick to see Erika standing there smiling and me.
"Yeah" I looked at Tessa "I really do" I replied.

I was on my way out when Erika had offered to switch beds. She was willing to sleep with Anthony while I was in her bed.

She would not take no for an answer, so I thanked and hugged her.

I crawled into the bed and rolled over to look at the beautiful girl sleeping across the room.
