Chapter 27

Chance's POV

My goal was accomplished!!

Well, she actually kissed me but it still counts!

We were getting settled in on the plane and I had set down beside her. I looked over to make sure she was ok.

She looked over and you could hear the engine starting meaning we'd be in the air in no time.

Tessa cupped my face with her hands and smashed her lips against mine...made my arms tingle.

The lights turned off and we were slowly moving down the runway. We pull apart from each other and look into each other's eyes.

I couldn't help myself from smiling but neither could she. I kissed her forehead as she rested it on my shoulder and closed my eyes.

We'd be home in no time.

Skip plane ride:

I stood at the baggage claim waiting on mine and Tess's bag while she went and got herself Starbucks.

It's not that late in Cali but the flight wore us all out.

We loaded our bags into the back of the van and got in ourselves. The entire ride home was quiet but not the awkward kind.

Taking our bags upstairs, someone made the comment of ordering pizza and wings for dinner.

The girls called Pizza Hut and us guys started editing today's vlog.

"Do you want me to take your plate?" asked Tessa.
"I'll come with you" I say as I stand up.

We walked into the kitchen and put our paper plates in the trash.

I put my right hand on her lower back and pulled her closer to me. Our eyes locked and we shot a small smile towards each other.

This time I planted a kiss on her lips and then embraced her into a hug.

By 9 o'clock a few still had to edit but the rest were going to bed.

Tessa and I walked upstairs and stopped in front of her bedroom door:
"Goodnight" I say smiling at her.
"I'll see you tomorrow" she replies as she closes her door.

I walk into mine and Anthony's room, along with the Martinez twins and told the boys what all went down today.

They cheered but quiet enough to where no one would hear. We sat and talked for a while then one by one we'd fall asleep.

I don't remember when I fell asleep, but the last thing on my mind was definitely Tess.
