    avery was the type of girl who never needed anyone. well the feelings were always mutual because no one really needed her. it was quite obvious. though he said he needed her, he really didn't. it was just all for show. he didn't need her. sure, he cared for her in the littlest bit but not need. and as for he, she meant mason. the guy that supposedly dating her. it's not that he's a bad person, it's that he doesn't notice. anything.

    he doesn't notice how important he is to her. he doesn't notice how she's struggling to make it throught the day without tearing herself down. he would never notice. he's too caught up with his own world where problems don't exist. and that's her problem. he has too many people he needs that he doesn't need her.

    if avery was given the chance, she would leave. she would go to a whole new place, start over again and maybe, just maybe, feel needed. it feels sometimes as if she was overlooked by everyone. she was always the girl in the background. she was always the girl that you could talk to but wouldn't be friends with, the girl that you could be close with but not really reach. she was what you would call unreachable. untainted. pure.

    yet she would also be one you would always think to be happy. they were dead wrong. as she went through a day with smiles and chatter, she would come home, dreading the scenes that would soon come. she's not abused by her parents at all, her parents weren't really much of a role model. with drunken fights, affairs and lack of care, they weren't role models at all. and by the end of the night, she'd be proven to be useless.

    one was for sure. she hated talking. to her talking is a sign of emotional weakness. your feelings and secrets come out when you talk. when you genuinely talk, people get to reach you. and that's what she was trying to avoid. no one could know who she really is. no one can find out what her life at home is really like. and no one can find out how she really feels everyday.

    you could say that avery, our sweet, untainted avery, is hanging by a thread. each and every waking moment.
