Carmilla and Laura love going to cons. Laura because she is a nerd and she loves meeting other people. So when both women show up to cons unintentionally wearing costumes as the two halves of ships, fans constantly push the two together assuming that they came together....

[A/N: The dates of this con is not accurate. ClexaCon is actually very new. Just thought I should point that out...]

ClexaCon, 2014, and Laura has shown up as one of her favourite TV show characters. Cosima Heihuas. She smiled as people complimented her costume that she spent over a week trying to put together. The hair was the hardest part, she underestimated just how difficult it was to make dreadlocks look real on a wig. But still, her costume was pretty spectacular, and she was happy to see other people thought so as well.

Carmilla was at the exact same con, and she was there as one of her favourite characters. Delphine Cormier. And she felt very proud when people complimented her on her costume, which she spent over a month on. Do you realise how hard it is to make the wavy, blonde hair look legit? It's difficult. Especially when you are hiding long, raven hair underneath it. Carmilla takes a lot of pride in her work in costuming, and she was consumed by her pride when she saw that other people were impressed by her work.

But when both women bumped into each other in the crowd, and a group of about 20 people begged them for pictures of the two together, the women shrugged and put an arms around each other's waists. Desperately choosing different camera lenses to look into and smiling at each. When the crowd dispersed, the two took a deep breath and looked at each other, admiring the others work. "Nice costume!" The two complimented at the same time, causing them both to chuckle and giggle. "Well, like I was saying, nice costume! I don't know many other people who watch Orphan Black, so it's cool to see a fellow person who enjoys cosplaying that also likes the show. I should go now though, I hope to see you around!" Laura exclaims, waving goodbye to Carmilla, who stands there, watching her leave. 'She was really cute..'

ClexaCon, 2015, and Laura finds herself once again dressed as one of her favourite TV show characters. Alex Danvers. Which is ironic, considering Alex is quite tall....and Laura is tiny. Nevertheless, her costume of the DEO agent in her uniform was incredible, and people noticed. Laura actually got more compliments than she did last year, which was saying a lot.

Carmilla also finds herself back at the con, dressed as her favourite Supergirl character as well. Maggie Sawyer. And her situation was similar for her costume. Pride, flattery, and happiness surged through her with each compliment. And Carmilla smirked, smiled and grinned with each massive compliment made about her work.

And, just like last year, Laura and Carmilla bumped into each other in a crowd, but before the group of fans could surround them, the two smiled in recognition. "Hey! I remember you! It's really nice to see you again, nice work with the costume again. It's down to the last detail!" Laura complemented with a kind smile, which Carmilla matched. "Thanks. I did work hard on it. But, do you see this irony? I'm taller than you, yet in the show Maggie is shorter." Carmilla chuckled, and Laura heartedly laughed back. "That's very true. I'm Laura." The blonde extended her hand to Carmilla who smirked and took the offered hand. "Carmilla. I guess I'm your girlfriend today, sweetheart." Carmilla winked, which caused Laura to blush a little despite her massive grin. "Well Carmilla, here comes the photo requests." Laura wrapped her arm around Carmilla's shoulder, while Carmilla put one arm on Laura's waist and the other with her hand on her own hip. Laura grinned, while Carmilla smirked. Posing for all the pictures that were asked of them to  take.

ClexaCon, 2016, and...you guessed it! Laura is back. This time as Waverly Earp. Everyone's favourite little baby gay from Wynonna Earp. And yes, her costume was absolutely amazing, every detail was done down to the T in accuracy. It seemed that her costumes where getting better every year. And with every compliment, every picture, and every thumbs up sent her direction, Laura smiled and thought about who she would like to hear from about her costume this year. Carmilla. The raven haired girl who made her feel like she was floating on a cloud when they talked. She truly hoped that they would meet again.
