Chapter 1

Alyssa's POV

ALY: What?!! Dad no freaking way! You are not sending me to a third world country!

Hindi ko alam kung anong masamang hangin ang nalanghap ni Daddy at bigla niya naisipan na pabalikin ako sa Pilipinas. I am Alyssa C. Valdez, I'm 16 , most valuable player ng female volleyball team ng McKinley High School .

I grew up in Bolton, New York, my Dad, Alexander Valdez and I migrated here when I was 5 years old, and if you're asking about my mom, wag na kayong mag tanong dahil matagal ko na siyang kinalimutan , my parents where never really married, napilitan lang sila magsama because they "accidentally" had a kid to raise, mom was 17, while dad was at his early 20's when they had me but they couldn't stand each other so they eventually separated and I ended up with my dad.

Mahal na mahal ko ang daddy ko , because of him hindi ko naramdaman na may kulang sa family namin, it was always him and I against the world....

A's DAD : Aly, baby, hear me out, please? You know I love you and I wouldn't do anything to hurt you

ALY: But Dad, 11 years, nakaya ko, natin na wala siya , I turned out great naman diba? Napalaki mo ko ng maayos without her help, I lived for 11 years without her,and I can live a hundred more kahit wala siya!

A's DAD : Baby, she's your mom, I know galit ka sa kanya, but she's been trying to reach out for the past 11 years too, ayaw ko rin namang malayo ka sa akin Aly, but we don't have a choice, your mom is legally demanding for your custody, 16 ka palang kung hindi kita pipilitin ,pwersahan ka niyang kukunin, at least this way may choice ka parin, just a year baby,just give your mom a year, after that everything will be back to normal...

ALY: Dad? What if it comes back? ( sobbing )

A's DAD: Tahan na , Honey, your mom will take care of you, promise....

Dennise's POV

I am Dennise Michelle G. Lazaro, 16, team captain ng Collegio de San Agustin girls volleyball team, outside hitter, most valuable player, palarong pambansa gold medalist and MVP, honor student, class president.

I come from a family of doctors and not just doctors but the best doctors in asia, we own several hospitals in asia and US.

Kahit na successful at busy sa business ang family ko, I grew up happy and loved. Hindi ako lumaki na spoiled o sunod ang layaw, as much as possible ayaw kong umaasa sa parents ko lalo na sa material needs ko, I work hard for the things I want, yes my parents are rich but I'm not, pera nila yun at di sa akin, kaya kung gaano kalakas mamilit sina mom at dad ganoon din ako kalakas tumanggi , I have enough, sobra-sobra na nga yung allowance ko kung tutuusin,

money and material things come and go, kaya di dapat tayo magpakalunod dito. So ,in short I am a driven , independent and self-contented lady at sa studies, volleyball at family lang umiikot ang buhay ko, dun lang...

DEN: Aray!! Ellaaaaa!!! Sa sahig at sa kamay lang pinapatama ang bola!!!, muka bang sahig ang mukha ko?! 5 laps paikot ng gym !!!

ELLA : Ang sungit mo naman, sorry na besh tao lang, peace

DEN: Nasa training tayo Ella, di mo ko besh captain mo ko, 5 laps now!!!

ELLA : Besh, ay Capt. Pala, pagod na pagod na ko di ko na kaya, sobrang sakit na

DEN: Wag mo kong dramahan, isa sa mga rules natin do no harm to your teammates, pangalawa na yun Ella, you should start running if you don't want me to add ten more laps...

ELLA : Eto na , excited na nga ko, yesss 5 laps whooo ang saya!!

AMY & KIM : Run baboy run!!! Hahahah

panunukso nila Kim at Amy , Dennise turned and glared at them, kaya natigil ang dalawa...

DEN: Team Listen!!! Kung gusto nating makuha ulit ang championship this year we need to take practice seriously, flawless execution is key , this is a team sport hindi pwedeng iilan lang sa atin ang mag eefort, starting line-up man o bench player lahat tayo may silbi , lahat tayo mahalaga, Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno !!!
