Everyone was having fun at the party, Sila Kim nilalantakan yung food, Sila Ella they were dancing, Si Den naman kausap si Alexander, Stella was talking to some of the guests

and me?

I was at the corner, sitting silently..

Hindi ko alam pero parang nab-bore ako na ewan, parang kanina lang I was exicited and happy beyond words could describe, pero ngayon biglang bumagsak yung pakiramdam ko...

I turned my eyes to the gigantic LED screen na nasa harapan, nagp-play yun nung mga video clips ng birthdays ko from 1 to 4 years old.

At kanina pa yun pa ulit-ulit kaya medyo na kakasawa din. I was getting tired of seing my old pics and videos, tsaka nakakahiya kaya sa mga tao 😒😒

Most of the videos showed a happy little girl with her perfect happy family, nagkakantahan , nagtatawanan , lahat masaya. All was well and all was fine...

But look at me now...look at US now...

My father was a million miles across the globe and hasn't even greeted me yet

My mom? nandito nga siya, kaya lang an layo naman ng loob ko sa kanya..

At ako, eto, litong lito , dapat bang maging masaya ako dahil birthday ko o malungkot dahil ibig sabihin nun 17 years na akong nagtitiis sa buhay na to.

I was startled by small voice na nang galing sa likuran ko, he tapped my back tapos he gave me a half smile sabay abot ng isang regalo.

It was my half brother

These past few months hindi ko naman siya masyadong pinapansin, Hi, Hello , Ok, yun lang hindi ko naman talaga siya kinakausap , Hindi rin kasi ako mahilig sa bata. And he's my half brother!! And that bothers the crap out of me...

He was intently looking at me, as if he was expecting a serious answere

Nagulat ako sa tanong niya, I mean he was just what 6 or 7?? Tapos he was askin me questions and I don't even know how to answer him back...

ALY: A-ano?? Ah, ha?? Ako?? Hindi...

RILEY: You adults, you have a habit of saying the opposite of what you're feeling, Eh bakit di mo po ako kinakausap pag nasa house tayo? Tsaka parang ayaw mo rin po sakin? Galit ka po ba sakin dahil di mo ko kapatid? ...

He said this in way na parang mangiyak-ngiyak na siya tapos parang nag- ppuppy eyes

At ako naman di na ako naka sagot... Hindi ko alam kung paano maki pag usap sa bata, baka pag sumagot ako dito umiyak to...

ALY:😶😶😶....... Ah Ryan kasi...hindi naman kasi ganon yun...ah ...well..you see...

He interupted me and stared at me blankly...

RILEY: Po? Riley po ...My names Riley not Ryan ate... See ate? You've been here for months po and you hardly even know name ...
