Dull. That's all his life was, dull. Dull but dark. There was only darkness surrounding him. Scared. He was terrified about everything he'd done but, there was no way out of this so called 'making a living.' Was he really alive? And if he was then surely this was just surviving and not living.
Living and surviving are two completely different things. Surviving, is being abe to carry on, make it through the tough times whether you were in pain or just feeling low, you'll still continue but something's missing. Living is the opposite --- living's about feeling all of your emotions all at once and being able to turn it into a positive. It's about not having to hide yourself from the world and to be able to tell everyone exactly who you are.
Yoongi hasn't felt alive for a long time. And maybe, just maybe, if he would've ran away, his life might've been different.
'One slice' he thought. 'One slice' and his boss would be pleased with him.
The sky was turning red as he was creeping up on his target. Well, to him it was turning red. Maybe you think the red symbolises courage. In actual fact it represents blood. After all, that's what Yoongi was commanded to do. Spill blood.
After years of torturing and destroying his personality, he wasn't affected by the sight of the liquid substance anymore. If his boss was happy with the job Yoongi was doing, then he was happy too.
The masked man tackled his target to the ground, frightening him then taking out his newly designed weapon, a divers knife that he stole which was now customised with red cloth around the handle. The red complimented the ridged edges and made Yoongi's entire appearance stand out.
The designated target stared up at the masked man, taking in details of what he 'looked' like. His mask was a dark, forrest green with a design that consisted of silver rhinestones. Basically, plastic diamonds that looked amazing even if you bedazzled a blazer. He also had an eye mask around them, black with a stripe of dark green down each side of the eyes. His clothing had a marked on 'X' in a brighter shade of green whilst the main colour was black.
Sure you'd think it'd be easy to catch someone who makes themselve so noticeable. But it isn't. Nobody knows his face or his name for that matter.
"W-who are you?" The younger male asked. It also didn't help that Yoongi had a voice modifier, so trying to 'identity' his voice was impossible. At least impossible for the investigators. "Who am I? Well, I guess you can call me Ghost." Yoongi sliced the targets stomach, blood now emerging from the wound. "Why...ghost? And what have I done?" He winced in pain. Yoongi hadn't cut him deep enough so instead of dying right on the spot from extreme blood loss he stayed alive, wanting to wallow in agony.
"You see sir, my boss doesn't really like people who go against him. And well, I guess you can consider me his little 'hit-man.' As for the nickname, this is why I'm called ghost." For once Yoongi had spared someone and disappeared within a flash.
"Ghost..." Just as the boy was getting up a sharp pain struck his abdomen, being met with Yoongi's figure and the knife that was now piercing through him.
"Did you honestly think I was going to let you live? Goodnight." A sinister smile curled up on his lips, though he couldn't see it. Someone must've seen what was happening as the sirens were getting more audible every few seconds. "Damn, I should leave a note." He took the already pre-typed note of his pocket which said,
'Try and catch me. It's fun to play games anyway!
Ghostx'"That should do it." He clapped his hands as he walked off, climbing up the crates to leave the scene.

Soon after the police came they examined the body but shockingly, there were no fingerprints left. "How is this even possible?" One of the policemen picked up the letter, carefully reading word by word. He banged his hands against the car, cursing under his breath. "For months we've been trying to catch him. It's time to hand him over to the big guys." They all agreed and one question came up after the long silence.
"So who's body is this?"
"Kim Namjoon."
___________
"Agent Kim."
"Yes?" Taehyung spoke into the rectangular device.
"We have a new assignment for you."
"What is it?"
"Well, let's just say it's called, 'Operation; Ghost.'" They talked for about two minutes until they realised they had nothing in common apart from their job of course, so they hung up.
"Operation; Ghost? Is this some weird paranormal case?"
