He doesn't know where to start. Well, maybe he should start at the beginning of his old best friend's diary but he doesn't. Taehyung flicks through the diary then lands on a random page, opening it up.

[ Diary of Secrets
I've decided that starting off this entry with a 'Dear Diary' is plain and boring. So, why don't I spice it up a bit?

Taehyung grinned then continued reading the entry.

[ Today me and Taehyungie went to find frogs! We didn't find one but we found a really big butterfly. That counts, right? I think it was an...Adonis Blue? Anyway it was really pretty. Uncle says butterflies only appeal to weak people but I'm definitely not weak! I'm just as strong as Taehyungie so I'll prove him wrong.
Until next time. Agent Min is out! ]

How was Yoongi? Where did he go? He missed him so much but he fell off of the face of the planet, leaving him alone. He turns the page, reading the next entry.

[ Diary of The Forbidden Fruit
I don't have fruit, sorry diary...But I've come with a secret! You know Taehyungie? Of course you do he's been in my last sixty entries. I think I love him! Shhh it's a secret. Eomma said you love the people you care about and I care about Taehyungie the mostest! That's a word, right??? Let's just say it is. The pretty Adonis Blue that we saw are apparently in my stomach! I didn't eat them! But it's a fluttery feeling in my tummy when I see him and butterflies flutter their wings. You can't tell anyoneeee okay? No one will read this so it's fine. Agent Min has to go now~ Bye bye. ]

Taehyung isn't shocked, rather, he's feeling bittersweet. The latter loved him all along and he loved him too. He still does. Where is he now, though? Maybe they could've been happy together if Taehyung hadn't fallen asleep that night. What's the point of thinking about the 'maybes' anymore? He wants to move on but he can't. Yoongi is the one for him, nobody else.

He flicks through random pages, reading embarrassing secrets he shared with Yoongi and reminiscing about the times they were up to no good and played pranks on his uncle which later resulted in a punishment. Yep. Taehyung knows now he shouldn't have pranked Yoongi's uncle.

   [ Diary
Please save me. He's scary. I don't like him. I want my parents back. He hates me. He hurt Eomma and now he wants to hurt me. Please don't let him hurt me. I'm running away with Taehyungie. We'll be alright. I'll take extra good care of him! As long as I have Taehyungie I'll be okay...
                    From a strong butterfly~ ]

"Oh, Yoongi." That's the last entry he's left and Taehyung can't help but feel useless. His best friend was somewhere out there, most likely in danger. He may very well be with his uncle because when he called the next day the horrible parasite known as Yoongi's uncle wasn't there and nobody said he got put in jail.

After all, Yoongi and his uncle are the reason he became an agent.

Maybe that's why he feels so connected to Ghost. Nobody can turn just like that and hurt people for fun. That's not how we humans work. We need a trigger. Something that causes us to switch. Yoongi's uncle had a trigger though he doesn't know what that trigger is so Ghost has to be the same. Nobody hurts someone for pleasure when they sound so sad. We hurt the people who hurt us, even if we don't really want to.

In his dreams he imagines Yoongi all grown up but he can't quite put a face to his old best friend. All he knows is that in order to have any way of finding him again, he'll need to have Ghost come along with him. Maybe he knows Yoongi's uncle and where he is and if he finds him, he'll be able to find his best friend.

But maybe he was a lot closer to finding him than he thought.
