"You are." Hoseok was now backing up against the wall. Not the smartest idea in the world but it's the only one he's got. "Are you serious?" He gulped. He was always loyal to him so for him to be the next target, well, it was absurd.

"Of course not!" The man smiled, wrapping his arm around his shoulder. Hoseok sighed in relief. "You really need to stop playing jokes like that."

"But you can't stop a jokester from being a jokester." He chuckled before humming to himself. "True. Anyway so who is our next target?"

"I think it's time I treat my boys don't you think?" Hoseok hugged the latter, smiling from ear to ear. "Thank you! Are you going to call Yoongi then?"

"About that. I think we'll need to get him a new phone." He pointed at the screen showing Yoongi running his hand through his hair whilst bashing his phone against a rock.

"Oh okay. Do you want me to go get him then?" You see, Hoseok had more freedom than Yoongi. He could trust Hoseok that he wouldn't screw up a job. Yoongi on the other hand, let's just say he wasn't the most reliable. "I was going to ask you anyway. I'm an old man y'know? Back in my day things were a lot different."

"You're in your twenties..."

"Exactly! So why haven't I gotten a claim for my back?"

"Very funny."

"I know, I'm hilarious."

"Bye!" Hoseok walked out of the room and his boss turned the monitor off.

________

"Yoongi why'd you jump into the river?" Taehyung ran to the boy who was currently hugging his knees. "Dunno. Just did."

They moved to under the bridge. Yoongi was scared. No. Petrified that he might be caught talking to Taehyung. He didn't know his boss had turned the monitors off but he sure as hell wasn't going to be taking any chances. "Hey, why are we under this bridge again? I'm no genius but your clothes won't dry if you're not under the sun."

"You can go on. I'm just going to stay here for a while." He rested his head against the bridge wall, taking in deep breaths.

"It's fine I'll stay here with you. Well, until I have to work." Taehyung rested his head on his shoulder. "What kind of work do you do?" Yoongi, far too tired to even think about pushing him away, placed his head on top of the boys.

Suddenly memories came flooding back.

"Taehyungie, Taehyungie!" The small boy waddled into his best friends arms --- hugging the younger with large, pathetic eyes, brimmed with tears. "Yoongi hyung, what's wrong?" Yoongi sniffled, getting some snot on his sweater paws as he wiped his runny nose. "I broke a cup a-and uncle told me to leave." The older boy cried into his best friends shoulder.

"I keep screwing up Taehyungie..."

"Everyone messes up hyungie. Just today I broke a plate." Taehyung turned to face him, pressing his nose against the others. "Am I evil, Taehyungie? Uncle said I was." They were now both sitting down, looking up at the amber sky that was supposed to warm so many hearts. But for once, a sunset no matter how crazy it sounds, only brought misery to Yoongi. It used to always bring happiness, but all of the abuse from his uncle and everyone around him, he just wasn't in the mood to be happy. They rested their heads against each others.

"You're perfect hyungie! Absoloutely perfect." Taehyung giggled, now holding one of Yoongi's hands.

"So I'm not bad?" He sniffled once more, intertwining their fingers. "Nope. You're the most amazing person I know. Okay Yoongi hyung? You're too good to be bad."

"I'm too good to be bad."

"What Yoongi-ah?"

"No. Nothing. Nevermind." He sighed heavily, having his thoughts consume him. 'I'll always be evil. That's what everyone told me and I should live up to that.' Although he didn't willingly become evil.

"Yoongi! Yoongi!" A voice that Yoongi knew all too well echoed throughout the streets near the river. "I'm gonna go." He stood up with Taehyung, thanking him for the food then running off. "Yoongi?" Within a few seconds Yoongi had left the site. "That was weird. I never knew someone could run that fast."

________

"Yoongi! Finally you're here. Come on, boss is gonna treat us. What if it's ice cream?" Hoseok squealed, running off with Yoongi back to their hideout.

"We're home." Hoseok yelled, bursting through the door. "Good. So where do you two want to go? My treat."

"Ice cream." He chanted over and over while Yoongi was just nodding. "Let's go then." Hoseok ran out, leaving the pair by themselves. Yoongi was about to leave until something pulled at his shoulder. "By the way, after ice cream I've got a job for you."

"Job..?"

"Yep and it's a big one. Oh and of course you can't let me down otherwise you know what will happen, don't you?" He smiled before exiting the room, leaving Yoongi alone. "Why did I choose this type of life?" A small tear escaped from his eye as he remembered he was the lowest of the low, and not even a piece offering from a guy he barely knew could change that.
