"What ice cream flavour would you like?" He asked the duo who were now sitting at the table. "Pooh-bear!" Hoseok giggled, playing with his feet. "I'll have the same then." Yoongi said while wearing a bored expression. "Back in a few minutes then." Their boss walked over to where all the ice cream was, waiting in line.
Yoongi looked out of the window, looking at all the faces that seemed so dull. Dull. That was a word Yoongi understood well. Dull. It was sad. No. It was heartbreaking. He would often study a face and picture their stories, make them up if you prefer. It gave him peace. But why was everyone so sad? In his mind they didn't have a right to be sad. They were free. And Yoongi never had that. Yes he could see people. But do you honestly think he was allowed to communicate with them? His boss would bring out the needle again filled with... well, that's an entirely different story on its own.
However, among all these bored faces one lit up. Taehyungs. His face reminded Yoongi of someone but he couldn't quite figure who. He stared at the boy and Taehyung must have had superpowers as he saw Yoongi with now dried clothes. He mouthed the name "Yoongi." Then ran towards the ice cream place. And of course Yoongi would be screwed if Taehyung and his boss met so he placed his hands up, motioning for him to stop.
"Who are you looking at?" Hoseok looked outside, not sure who Yoongi was looking at but sure enough that it would be trouble. "No one."
"Ice cream!" Their boss came back with three large ice creams in his hands. "Thank you." Hoseok grasped the ice cream, eating it right away. "Thanks." A small smile appeared on Yoongi's lips. Not because of the ice cream but because Taehyung hadn't come into the parlour. Their boss smiled, putting his arms around his two workers. "I have a feeling this year is going to be our year." They both nodded, finishing off their ice cream.
__________
"Hoseok-ie go back to our place I need to speak with Yoongi." He simply nodded then walked off, leaving the pair alone. A scene which in Yoongi's opinion, was far too often repeated.
"This feels familiar right?" His boss chuckled, placing his finger on his chin. "Yeah." Yoongi replied in a monotone voice. "Anyway, the two targets are Park Jimin and Kim Seokjin. Big in the game right now. Once delt with them and let's just say they owe me a thing or two."
"By a thing or two you mean?"
"£90,0000."
"Right. So talk me over the plan." It wouldn't matter if someone caught the pair on footage since all the cameras practically belonged to them. "Well, my dear boy. Both will be at Gwang-An Bridge in an hour. They just recently came back from a job and they're holding the money. Normally after their jobs they'll carry the money in this brown leather satchel which has a white print on it. Considering their recent Job there will be at least £150,0000 in there. All you have to do is steal it and then kill them then take pictures. Pretty simple really but it's the biggest job yet."
"Oh...Okay." Memories came flooding back to him.
"Eomma!" The small boy screamed as he saw his dearly beloved mother stabbed by the man who claimed to love her. "Stop it." He screeched, now wailing that the blood leakage was becoming more noticeable. "Aw is poor little Yoongi crying? She was a whore anyway. You should be happy." A sinister smile made its way onto the older mans lips but all Yoongi could do was cry. Cry and Cry, trying to deny the fact that his mother was dying before him and there was nothing he could do. "Yoongi-ah...Remember, you're not a bad boy." His mothers audible words were now slowly dying down to only a whisper it was almost as though Yoongi was watching a movie with no sound.
Suddenly the memories became blurry.
"Yoongi?"
"Yes?"
"Remember, we're the bad guys."
"I know."
"Good."
_________
"Dirty jobs for dirty people right?" Yoongi was now 'suiting up.' Sure he didn't have a lot of time but he could make it. No one can beat him when it comes to things like that. His boss was 'kind' enough to give him a new suit and mask. His mask was now white with red gems across the bottom and top with an x sliding across the middle. His eye mask stayed the same. He wore a white, torn t-shirt having the famous symbol he always had on his back a 'x' in blood red. His ripped jeans were still black but they now had red stones along the pockets. And of course to finish it off, a white snapback.
"You should get going." His boss smiled, handing the camera over to him. "Why do I need the camera anyway? What use will you have with me taking photos of dead people?" He fixed his cap, staring straight at his employer. "To blackmail of course."
"Blackmail who?"
"Jeon Jungkook."
"Whatever." He walked off, only to be grabbed by the wrist. "You better not let me down."
__________
"Of course. Spare Hoseok and allow me to take all the damage because that's what you always do." He muttered to himself until he saw the two people he was looking for, carrying the exact satchel his boss described.
He ran towards the boys, pinning down one of them and then striking the other with his trusty divers knife. "What the hell?" The smaller boy snarled, pushing Yoongi off him. "Nice try." He smirked, already having stolen the bag from them. "Ghost." The taller knew who he worked for but he never knew who exactly Ghost was. "That's me."
The voice modifier made it impossible for them to detect Yoongi's voice and maybe that's what made him the best of the best. He wasn't sloppy at hiding his identity. And of course, he was controlled to kill the bad guys but sometimes, just sometimes, he'd spare them. He'd break free from the controls and just let them live.
"You know, I didn't want to end up this way." He began, now correctly holding the divers knife. "But I have to. Or he'll hurt me. So, please don't take this personal." He steadied the knife, blocking one of the guys as he charged at him, grazing his shoulder.
"I guess I'll have to start with you then." Just as he was about to end his life right there and then a small voice ringed inside his mind.
"You're not evil hyungie. You're too good to be evil." That voice echoed throughout, freezing Yoongi on the spot. The two boys took that as an advantage and cut the boy with a butterfly knife right across his chest but not deep enough. "Bastards." He spat, kicking the pair off of him. His left hand connected with one of the boys jaw.
"Ghost! Stop. I can help you." A deep voice unraveled throughout the bridges scenery. Yoongi turned around to see Taehyung. "Taehyung?" He called out, instantly regretting his decision. "You know me?" Taehyung asked with a shocked expression. "I'm sorry. But you can't help me. No one can." He ran away, passing Taehyung without him realising. He climbed up the bridge effortlessly, though he felt like he could collapse at any time.
They would probably think they just imagined everything until they saw the droppings of blood plastered alongside the bridge. Taehyung ran away, avoiding the two criminals then received a phone call.
"Agent Kim? You're late it's now 7:34p.m get here now." Taehyung stayed quiet for a while, trying to process what just happened.
"Agent Kim answer."
"I think I just saw Ghost."
