"Sammy when are we going to move out of this drug house" I asked my twin brother Sam

"When Colby is old enough to live with us, his birthday is tomorrow and we have already found an apartment for us all" Sam said

Everything about this place is horrible. I guess that's what happens when you get adopted. But that doesn't matter, tomorrow we are moving to LA, I can't wait it's going to be so much fun and we won't have to be in this house with our drug addicts for parents

"MAYBE IF WE DIDNT TAKE DRUGS THOSE 2 WOULDNT BE MOVING AWAY" one of our 'parents' yelled, you can never really tell who is who. I always get really scared when those 2 fight as most of the time it ends up with one of us getting hurt. Sam and I never leave each other's side when they fight because we don't want to get hurt.

"Shauna do you wanna stay at Colby's tonight?" Sam asked

"Anything besides staying here" I said and packed my things into Sam's car. I haven't passed my driving test yet as I'm terrified.

It's a text from Colby
C: hey I heard your staying at mine tonight is everything ok at home, you have never wanted to stay at mine?
S: nothing at home is ok EVER but Sam just told me to put everything in the car and that we are staying at yours that's all I know
C: ahh well do you thing Sam would mind if you stayed in my bed...... with me
S: yes he would mind a lot. He dosent know about us remember, and I want to keep it that way for a while at least
C: alright well text me when your here

"You texting Colby?" Sam asked

"Yeah just about staying over" I said

"You like him" Sam said

"NO I DONT" I said playfully punching his arm

"COLBY" Sam yelled

"Oh silly he already knows we're here" I said

"How did he know that?" Sam asked

"He told me to text him when we got here" I said

Before Sam could say anything the door burst open

"SAM, SHAUNA COME INSIDE" Colby yelled. Him and Sam bro hugged and I just walked in smiling

"Thanks for letting us stay here man" Sam said

"No problem, must be really bad at home I mean Shauna never stays over" Colby said

"I wouldn't leave her there when they are acting like that" Sam said

"So where am I sleeping" I asked

"Anywhere besides the other bedrooms, the guest room is taken up because some of my family is here at the moment but there are other places that we can find. Actually Shauna can I talk to you for a little bit alone?" Colby askes

"Yeah sure what about" I said as Colby pushed me into his room

"We need to tell Sam, I want to take care of you but I can't if he dosent know" Colby said

"Then tell him but I'm staying behind you" I said. We rush back to Sam and Colby starts to tell him

"Sam we need to tell you something" Colby said, as he did I got further behind him

"Yeah what's up?" Sam asked

"Shauna and I have been in a relationship for a few months" Colby said. I saw Sam's hand go from calm gentle hands to fists and I moved further back

"WHY WOULDNT YOU TELL ME THIS SHAUNA" Sam yelled

"I d-didn't want you to get mad" I said

"I'm not mad ok I just would of liked it if I had known before I decided to stay at his house" Sam said, he still sounded angry but he also seamed like he was calming down
