The scythe of Death is a weapon wielded by the Underworld's Death, normally when a new Death appears to take the role of the old one, they have it with them since it is bound to their very soul.
Each scythe a Death has is different, the scythe's design is what suites the user or the users favourite design since it's linked to their soul.
A being wielding the scythe beside Death has never been recorded in history, the last person who tried to steal the scythe got been banished as soon as he touched it.
The scythe is what helps Death with their responsibilities, it has the ability to kill or banish monsters and humans.
Banishing a monster or human restarts their lives back to birth and they have no memory of their past life, the scythe can also kill people which wipes their lives from the life cycle of rebirth.
Death IV's scythe had a completely black handle and the blade was a red crimson.
Luna's scythe is like her father's but it has the same type of skull pattern which is on her dress around the handle.
The blade is still a dark red and has a black tribal imprint across the bottom of the sharp blade.
The scythe changes on how the user is feeling too, the second Death's scythe changed on how he felt, such as when feeling anger, his scythe took on a more sinister look.
