Chapter 6 - The Mine

Maxilla's eyes light up to his usual blue, he looks to his left to see Lucy still sleeping with a huge smile on her yellow skined face.
Max looks towards Luna's bed to see it empty, as if she hadn't slept on it at all.

The fire that lit the cold, dark night sizzled with bits of light had been trying to be reborn into a big flame.

There sleeping next to it was Luna, who was holding her cloak tightly with a slight mumble of the word "Father."

Luna wakes up and looks around her with a daze, she was still tired but she knew she had to fight the sleep.

She looks at Max who is still staring at her and makes a playful wave, Max points towards Lucy who still has a huge grin on her face in her sleep and makes a giggle sound.

Luna does the same, Max and Luna get up and put all of the equipment back into Lucy's huge backpack.

When Lucy finally wakes up she looks around and notices that they packed up, she says in a sad tone "I could've done that..."
Max pats Lucy's head and says "Hey you can't do everything alone."

Lucy just nods.

Luna, Max and Lucy all get ready to cross the blood river, Luna summons her scythe and taps the water with it.
The water completely stops as if frozen, Luna and her friends walk across it with Max commenting "You've gotten stronger, Luna."

Luna just makes a backwards wave gesture meaning "Thanks."
They cross the crimson river of frozen ice, when the friends move off of the frozen river it returns to normal and it carries on its gentle flow.

They carry on walking through the plains of red grass and black roses until they reach the village, it is a normal village with people walking around.

A well is in the center of the village and it looks old, very old to the point it could have been made when the first Death was ruling.

So around seventy million years old, it has a bunch of magic seals on it which stops it from aging.

Luna, Maxilla and Lucy all look around the old stone town, that was until a middle age woman in her early thirties approach the party and asks in an adult tone "Are you Luna by any chance?"
Luna nods and says "Yes, I am Luna Death V."

The woman smiles and says "I have been expecting you, Death, Max and Lucy. Please follow me."

Luna being called 'Death' brings a chill down her spine, but she follows without resistance.

The three follow the woman to an old stone house with purple moss growing from it, the woman wears a purple robe with long brown hair and she has a purple hat which matches with the dress.

Her eyes are blue which is uncommon for anything besides skeleton knights and humans, she opens the wooden door with a loud "Creek~~" sound.

In the room there are shelves packed with lots of potions all with different colours and effects, the room is lit by a pinky, purple light coming from a black metallic cauldron in the center of the room.

The woman taps the cauldron and says "It's nice to meet you all, I am Margaret."

Margaret does a slight curtsey and says "You have come here for information, have you not?"

Luna nods and replies "I want to know where the humans have come."

The purple witch nods and throws a bottle of yellow stuff into the black cauldron, the cauldron lights up and a puff of green smoke rises up into a circle creating a screen.

On the screen appears a camp with a medieval castle there, human soldiers are sharping swords and cleaning maces.

Luna looks at the image before her and says "Where is this?"
Margaret takes out a map and points towards the north side which has a grey spot on it.
