The Next Day...

It was currently lunch time at school.

Jonathan was eating alone in the lunch room. Even the action Evan did kept him up all night, making him have bags under his eyes. The cutting didn't stop, so his arms were covered with a long sleeved shirt and sweater.

He was ignoring all the giggles and laughs that everyone was doing to him. Pointing and whispering things to each other. Jonathan was still ignoring them by listening to 'Numb,' by Linkin Park.

On the other side of the cafeteria, Evan sits with the "cool kids" of the school. They were watching the video Evan took of Jonathan and laughing hard.

"Man, Evan! How'd you manage to get him to do this?" His friend, Tyler aka WildCat, says.

"I don't know, I just talked him into it and he believed me. Thank god I kept the camera in a secret place," Evan chuckles.

Sydney, the most popular girl, comes over and sits on Evan's lap and kisses him on the cheek.

"Hey, Evan," she says.

"What's up, babe?" He says and kisses her on the cheek.

"Hey faggot!" Someone shouts, making everyone from the table turn and look.

Everyone sees that it's Jonathan at the table with a bunch of bullies around him.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" He says.

Jonathan just ignores them and keeps eating his food. That action made them mad and slam Jonathan's head into his plate of food.

"Go suck a dick, faggot!" They say before walking away.

Jonathan lifts his head up and sighs. He looks over and sees Evan staring at him with worried eyes. He then scoffs and picks up his stuff to leave the cafeteria. Evan then feels guilt and shame after looking at what Jonathan just went through.

Evan sighs and looks down at the table in front of him.

"C'mon, Evan! You can't really feel bad for that fag, right?" Tyler says.

"Ha! No... No I don't," Evan says, but on the inside his heart broke just saying it.

"I'm going to use the bathroom guys."

Evan left to the bathroom and checked to see if it was empty. Luckily it was. He put his stuff on the ground and stared at the mirror. His eyes filled with guilt, his heart filled with heartbreak.

He looks down and sees a silver necklace around his neck. That necklace made him feel worse when he realizes that Jonathan wasn't wearing his half. His eyes start to water and starts to blame himself for what he's done.

"I'm sorry, Jonathan. I'm so sorry I did this to you. I don't know how, but I'll make it up to you..." he says to himself.

"I promise."
