Demi POV:

This lady who beat Sammie wants her back. Oh hell no she is my daughter and I will not give her up at all. I took a quick look around and Sammie is still watching TV. So I push the lady out and shut the door. "I want you off my property right now, You lost your right to Sammie when you dropped her off at the orphanage". "If you show up again I will call the cops" her reaction surprised​ me. She laughed! And said "Do you really think you can take care of her? What about your tours and the fans? You will hardly be around for her. Yeah I messed up but I will be there". I snap back and said "You had her for 5 years and you hurt her so bad! You'll be there for her? When you was drunk and throwing bottles at her? Or when she has a nightmare and you just hit her and tell her go back to bed? Or the worst thing you could ever done was to Sammie just because she was hungry was chaining her outside so that she wouldn't bug you anymore. I want you off my property and to never come back!" She looked at me and said I'll be back, you better be careful!" She threatens me. I saw her walk off then drove off. I started crying, she can't take her! I break down at my front door, I try to be as quiet as possible

Sammie POV:

Mom was taking way to long talking to whoever was at the door and so I got more to go see who it was. I was too short but I just try to listen and I could remember that voice anyone. What is she doing here? And I can barely make out what they are saying.....she can't take me can she? She was awful to me.....

Demi comes in and looks at me

"Mom, she cant take me right?" I ask nervously

Mom looked at me
"No baby, not if I have anything to say about it"

"Good" I sigh in relief not wanting to leave my mom

"I know she is my real mom and that she wants to take me back" I tell mom being honest

Demi's POV

An hour later I get a knock on the door. I was hoping it was not Sammie's real mom again. I answer the door to a police officer handling me papers saying that Sammie's real mom wants to fight for custody. I get pissed off

"Mom what are those papers" Sammie asks me

"Dont worry about it sweetie. Go to your room and watch tv or something" I tell Sammie and she listens and goes to her room

I didn't want to worry her too much. I know she's going to find out soon enough but I want to keep it from her for now
