The Fate Between Us
Chapter 22: Cutkosky Vs Grier
Hayes POV:
I couldn't believe that my flight was leaving to Florida tonight, I was finally going to be able to see Rose even if it's only been like 2 weeks. I didn't like the fact that I had to fly over with Ethan to spend my birthday weekend but Rose did plan this all out. I grabbed my suit case walking along sitting down in a seat waiting for the plane to arrive to get onto the gate. I look up as someone's takes a seat in front of me and it's Ethan, I roll my eyes at him as he gives me a fake smile before taking some pictures with Rose's fans. I found it so funny how someone could earn more fame through their partner even if they aren't a fan of that person, you get what I mean?

About 30 minutes pass by and it's time for the two of us to get onto the plane, I honestly couldn't wait to not have to look at him. Boarding on to the train I go into first class looking for my seat and I luckily get the window seat. My train of happiness gets short lived when I see Ethan roll his eyes at me and takes a seat right next to me. Ugh an entire 3 hour flight next to this guy? Kill me now ugh. I plugged in some earbuds and shifted myself away from Ethan to take pictures of the sky when all of a sudden he starts to flirt
with a flight attendant somehow allowing him to trade seats with another passenger. He's literally so bratty I honestly couldn't stand him, like hell I don't like having to sit with you but you could of at least lasted 3 hours.  I pull back my seat and listen to some soft rap music before drifting off back to sleep until we land in Florida.

I had a funny dream to be quite honest, Rose and I were like falling in love together, we had like this kiss at the Empire State Building redeeming us as a couple I guess. It was odd yes but I felt weird about it, like the dream I guess seemed right to me? In the dream she was talking about how nervous she was to be up this high, but she found it really thrilling and exciting at the same time, I sort of just looked at her in awe and I grabbed her by the waist, and moved all of the hair out of her face and we had a soft kiss before the dream got interrupted when I heard that we were landing. The passenger next to me was completely snoring so I tapped them lightly to attempt to wake him up but he stayed asleep.

As we landed the guy was still asleep next to me so a flight attendant woke him up for me, he sort of slept walk all the way to the gate in front of me until he was met with some lawyer dude. By now I couldn't see Ethan anywhere so I assumed he'd by now go to luggage to go and find Rose. As I strolled through the airport a bunch of fans were coming up to me to take pictures with them so I smiled and we all just sort of chatted along. They said they had seen Rose coming into the airport earlier but she seemed to look like she didn't want to get disturbed in that moment so they didn't bother her. I gave them a nod before seeing a Lush store, knowing Rose's obsession with their products I walked in and got a bath bomb for her. Some fans of mine that were fans of her suggested that I would get her a Twilight BathBomb, supposedly that one was her favorite. I thanked the lady at the register after purchasing it and walked out to see Rose near the food court hand in hand with Ethan.

I don't know what hit me then but I sort of felt weird but horrible, was my dream a sign about her? Did I actually have feelings for her or am I just feeling lonely? I shook my head at the nonsense and strolled behind the pair as they walked back to the luggage area. They still seemed to haven't notice me but what was weird was that Ethan kept trying to make a move to kiss her but Rose kept dodging it, she seemed uncomfortable by the motion. I saw my suitcase so I picked it up and walked a couple feet behind Rose and Ethan, screaming out loud Rose to everyone in the airport as she turned around and looked at me.

She stood there for a bit, adjusting her eyes I guess but looked at me again before running to me, crashing into me giving an enormous hug. Ethan on the other hand seemed angry that I showed up, ruining his lonely efforts with Rose I guess. I engulfed my arms around her and could see she smelled heavenly of a perfume from Victoria Secret, one of my favorite perfumes she'd wear. She linked her arm around me and trolled around the airport towards her car I assumed to take us to wherever she was taking us, Ethan was attempting to chat her up and ask as to where we were going but she wouldn't budge. Throwing our luggage into the back, Rose hops into the drivers seat and Ethan decides to sit in the front with her, attempting to hold her hand or he starts to slide his hand up her thigh but she ends up hitting him a bunch of times. She tells him to stop doing that after a while getting really annoyed with him as he rolled his eyes.

We had pulled up to this enormous hotel, and I started to get really giddy and extremely happy. Rose was the only one to get out of the car and go inside the hotel sadly as Ethan and I sat there in silence waiting for her. He was giving me an evil look through the mirror so I just rolled my eyes at him and looked out the window. I don't know to be honest, I don't get what I feel about Rose because I know she's like my best friend, but there's something apart of me that doesn't want to let her go I guess as a friend in general but I want something more. It's so frustrating on top of that because I don't think she has feelings for me at all. I sigh as Rose comes back to the car instructing Ethan and I to take our stuff and come with her. There was about 20 of us staying at the hotel for this weekend, each 2 people sharing a room. I fortunately got Rose as a room mate and Ethan was really pissed about it, I stick out my tongue at him as he reads who his roommate for the weekend was, and to my amazement it was none other than a friend that was joining us at dinner.

It was my good friend from middle school, it was Charlie Minds.
