I was tagged by MissMarleneYoung to rack my brain until I found several somethings of actual interest about me, so here we go.1. I just broke a glass bottle of orange sauce for chicken all over the garage and had to clean it. We have another spare bottle, so dinner is saved.
2. Although I am a writer, I've never been the best at journaling (reader62403)
3. I've taken three years of orchestra and will probably be taking a gap year for next year since I can't fit it into my schedule
4. I relate to Belle in every possible way. I'm pretty sure I'm the Belle of my school since everywhere I go I have a book clutched to my chest, and I'm inwardly going, "Oh these provincial peasants." Except I'm not beautiful.
5. I can't deal with my stupid cat (demi_hunter)
6. My other cat gave birth the night before Easter! She has a litter of five adorable kitties
7. My hair used to be a medium brown with reddish, but I started avoiding the sun, so now it's gotten extremely dark. I'm hoping to naturally lighten it again over the course of summer.
8. I want everyone to read Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. It's literally one of my new favorite books, and definitely my favorite of this year. It's pure magic and I just adore it.
9. I love theatre. When I was little (OH MY GOD WE LEARNED THAT LINE IN FRENCH. Quand j'etais jeune), I used to put on plays for my family. I made this skit called 'Jen,' and it was the cringiest thing ever. I was also in plays in elementary school, and that was also cringe, but I remember feeling personally attacked if I wasn't given a major role and was just part of the chorus.
10. Speaking of putting on productions. Quand j'etais jeune, I used to act out the first part of Prince of Egypt and the part when Cinderella ran from the ball. I was about three when I did this, so just imagine a toddler running around the couch and whispering, "No, Prince, you can't get me. Don't get me!"
For Prince of Egypt, I put a baby doll in a basket (I still have the basket somewhere in the garage), and would sing, literally break down sobbing, and hide away. To me, this was the saddest thing ever; to be forced to abandon your baby. It still makes me emotional.
Apparently it was the most adorable thing ever.11. My mom drinks her coffee black, and when I was a baby, she would hold both her coffee and me. As a baby I would snatch her coffee--black coffee--and guzzle it down as quickly as possible. She'd have to fight me to get it back.
12. This one time I was in one of those baby jumper things that hung from the door, and I was somehow able to flip it over so I was bouncing on my head for a while.
13. I was a very interesting child, and therefore have had a very interesting and abnormal life. But it's been overall worthwhile, because who wants a normal story anyway?
14. I love Asian food, especially sushi. And food in general.
15. I adore a good musical, and if I get obsessed, I'm going to be singing for years.
16. Fantasy is my favorite genre, and I rarely reach for realistic fiction unless informed it's fantastic. Then I'll give it a chance.
17. Not gonna lie, I love ranting about things I hate.
18. Concerning 17, I hate school.
19. I'm an animal lover, always have been, always will be. For a while I was convinced I'd get a job in that department, but that requires so much in science, and I have always despised science. It just makes absolutely no sense to me.
