"Come on man! I have to catch a flight," I said to the cab driver trying to prompt him to go faster.
"I'm trying!" He said annoyed.

We reached the airport at exactly 15 minutes before the flights got for Seattle took off. I gave a random amount of fare to the cab driver and jumped out. Running to the check in, I fumbled around my bag for my ticket and handed it to the counter.

"Hi, my flight leaves in about 16 minutes-here's my ticket," I said huffing from the run.
The check in officer looked at my ticket and studied it. I anxiously tapped my fingers on the table. She looked at the ticket confused and then checked her monitor. Then she shook and head and began to speak,

"I'm really sorry sir, but the flight to Seattle has been delayed for about 12 hours due to inclement weather."

"What?! No that can't be, the weathers not that rough," I said surprised.

"Sir-Seattle is experiencing dangerous thunderstorms and lightening strikes. It is not possible to fly." She said sternly.

I brought my fist down on the table angrily and walked away. What am I going to do now? I reached into my pocket to call Emi-when I realized it wasn't there either. I held my face up to my face, helpless.
