How dare she?! What does that little prick think she is? I tightened my grip on the steering wheel and clenched my jaw. I looked over at Emi, who had her eyes closed and was resting her head on the window.  Sleeping peacefully, I thought. How despicable. Part of my wanted to grab her by the hair and pull until she was in pain. Yet, part of me wanted to keep on looking at her, so innocent and beautiful in that dress.

We reached the house at about 9:30. The sky outside was pitch black. I got out of the car and took out my keys. Emi, unaware that I had left, was still sound asleep in the car. I went to the front door and turned the lock. I shut the door behind me and went upstairs. I scanned the room, looking for what I could do tonight. I saw the belt from the morning-already done. I saw the tie from two nights ago, also done.

Running out of ideas, I paced back and forth. She had sassed back to me, I thought. But i couldn't control the anger building up inside of me. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't let go of the feeling of wanting to harm her. Flustered, I went downstairs again to the main door with my keys.

Huffing, I locked the main entrance from the inside, so that when Emi woke up, she couldn't come in. I wanted her to spend the night outside, I didn't want her next to me, in my room. Satisfied, I went back upstairs and peeked through the window.

Emi had awoken and had gotten out of the car. She looked lost, scared, wondering where I was. She ran up to the front door, trying to to open it. She fumbled with the lock, but it wouldn't budge. She was starting  to panic. She looked right and left and reached for her phone. A few seconds later, my phone started to ring, and I looked at it and smirked. I pressed the red button on the phone and cut her call off.

As much as I was having fun watching her panic, I did feel rather tired. I said "goodnight Emi" silently through the window and left the curtain down. I slumped on my bed and closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
