Will. I stood there frozen in terror, as the thunder roared behind me. I knew he was holding onto me, but I didn't bother to move. I stared into his face and the unpredictable look in his eyes. I had been found.
"You know, I wish you would've told me you liked Jake. He's a nice guy, I admit. But I'll always love you more Emi," he said closing the door behind him. He still held onto me with one hand. I just looked at his face with despair and an overwhelming sense of loss. I had no energy to fight back. He turned back around to look at me.
"What happened Emi, is all this because of those diamond earrings? I told you I would be them next time for you," he said, in a mocking tone.
I said nothing.
"Come on, let's go inside", he cooed. He led me by the arm and took me to the empty room by the living room. I walked forward, heavy and frozen, as if bricks were attached to my legs.
We got into the bare room, with one mattress and some throw pillows. I was gazing at the room when Will spoke,
"So let's talk Emi," he said grabbing my hand and sitting down on the floor. I sat with him, not saying a word.
"Tell me how this all started." He said as if he was talking to a child who had broken the rules. I said nothing again.
"Tell me!" He screamed as she slapped me across the face hard. I whimpered and held my hand to my cheek, but I didn't break my silence. I looked down to the right side of the room and something red hit the white tiled floor below. Blood. I held my hand up to my nose, and looked at the blood coming out of my nose. Will started to laugh. He grabbed me by the hair and lurched me forward.
"You've crossed the line Emi, the very line I warned you about the very first day. And now you're gonna pay-hard."He said. He reached into his back pocket and pulled something out. It was shiny,gleaming. A revolver. I looked up at his crazed face as he held it up for me to see, like a shiny new toy in front of a baby.
"It hurts me to think that you would betray me like that Emi," he said pointing the gun at me.
