Luna's POV
The next morning she awoke disorientated. 'Where am I? Deli, you there girl?' a soft slap of the tail against the inside of her elbow was her answer. Books were laying in a corner together with a pile of rubble. 'It feels like my head is spinning.' swinging her feet to the ground she sat up. Suddenly everything came rushing back to her, the test!
trying her hardest not to be out of breath she sat down. 'I made it just in time. Why didn't you say anything?!' 'I didn't know it was important. You hadn't said to remind you my lady.' Irritated she blew a lock of hair out of her face. 'You're right. I should have done that.' A man with an anbu mask stepped forward and began handing out various tests. 'Great no cheating.' she murmered while contemplating her options. Tapping nervously with her pencil she waited for the test.
It was nerve racking, the man in the anbu mask had started sending little groups of people away. Some disappeared into the forest while others jogged down the steps and ventured into a room. Still she waited, even Kallista soon disappeared from her side. Staring straight ahead she fiddled with a string that had come loose from her clothing. winding and unwinding it from her finger.
"Firestyle: fireball jutsu!" the words echoed right before the jutsu hit her, still she didn't move. Instead she focused on a moving shadow. carefully calculating how far he was standing from the fire he had created. "You're standing way too close kid." She murmured softly before she made the handsigns. His fire that moments before had tried to eat Luna alive went in reverse and slammed into the castor . A high pitched scream followed. Nonchalantly she dusted her clothes, it had some fraying around the edges but everything else was still intact. Not one blister that formed on her skin nothing to indicate that she had been hit. The pitiful screams of the man gave way to a soft moaning. "This shit is taking too long." Frustrated she drew in a breath and released blue fire. Before anyone could react the man had turned to ashes. A proctor stood with a clipboard in hand while inspecting the ashes. "Why didn't you move?" Staring pointedly at her "You should have been able to sense him. So why didn't ya dodge?!" For a second his voice betrayed his irritation before he reeled it in. "Why would I? Fire can't harm me." She smiled humourlessly at him. "I'm a dragon remember?" while she stared at the proctor her eyes changed, her pupils became slitted and the dark green of her eyes became an unnatural light green. The eyes of a predator. "Very well. You pass." She detected a slight tremor in his voice. They're always scared when they realise one of the dragon kin is among their midst. Why would I be surprised? I should let them be scared, at least scared enough that they won't rat me out. "Go to room 643 another test awaits you." She gave a mocking bow before she disappeared.
The room felt cold. deserted. Without much thought she cranked up her internal boiler, heat or cold didn't do her any harm unless she was so out of chakra that she couldn't access the part in her that was dragon. "Well hello? Someone here to give me this stupid test? Or am I to wait until someone takes pity on me?" The fear in the proctors eyes had unnerved the part of her that was purely animal. It had wanted to tear him apart , not only out of fear for discovery but also for the pure enjoyment of it. A piece of paper landed on one of the tables. Sighing she walked over and plopped down in a seat.
She completed the four tests and came back to the cottage. "Kal you have no idea how irritating today was!" No reply. The cottage was empty. Moving soundlessly, she checked her own room before going to Kallista's, she even checked the kitchen and bathroom. "Where the hell are you? The tests are over, so why aren't you here yet?" She wispered. For three hours she paced around the rooms not bothering too keep silent. A soft knock alerted her. Stomping to the door she threw it open with unnecessary force. "I was wait--- oh I'm sorry. Do you want to come in Lord Danzo?"
Hey all, so as usual it took me a while to write the next part. I actually had a draft already, but it was way too short to put it online. I'm afraid I forgot after that, I'm really sorry guys. Anyway here it is! or was , whatever.
