*Luna's POV *
Looking around frantically, she spotted a small alcove. Making herself as small as possible she tried too wiggle herself in the spot. No such luck. Pushing she tried to force her way in, but she was simply too big.
Just when she started trying too climb her way out, her pursuer came around the corner.
Please don't let it be a scout! Please don't let it be a scout! Please dont—
Slowly turning around she got in a defensive pose. A man stood at the opening, wearing the clothes of a ninja. Her hands trembled slightly when she raised them higher till they were in front of her face.
The ninja had stopped in the opening. "What's the matter kid?" He sounded kind. She fisted her hands "none..none of your business." her voice sounded high pitched, missing the bite in her words. The ninja slowly raised his hands in the air and squatted down. " where're your parents? I won't hurt you." Get a grip. I have to get him to leave me!
Squaring her shoulders she said "I don't have any parents, they died. I must be off now." turning her back to him fully intended to walk away ,she faced the wall.
Turning around preparing to scream she stopped, stunned. Empty.
Guess he left? Man I hope so.
Throwing caution overboard she started running at break neck speed, not caring one bit if she was seen now.
Deli came back and coiled around her arm. "scout up ahead." "What do you mean scou—, shit." sliding, she swung herself left. "Why didn't you warn me sooner?!" stopping by a couple of dumpsters she stared in each of them. "Sorry malady I wasn't here." jumping in the one that was almost empty she closed the lid. "Are you sure the the scout saw us?" the dragon tilted her head, curious for her answer.
"I saw him looking...so I guess he saw us." lifting the lid an ich she peeked outside. Everything clear.
Climbing out she walked hurriedly to the exit of town. "We're almost there Deli. Just a couple of blocks away."
