*Alec's POV*
his fingers were broken, and his ankle was crushed. Still he tried to push himself through the opening to the freedom just up ahead. "I refuse to die here.. I. I won't." Still he had no idea how to get himself out of peril. Except for the fact that he was too big for the hole, his ankle was crushed beneath a giant rock. No movement there whatsoever. His vision became blurry, tears escaped as the possibility of never getting out of here. of dying in this cave alone overcame him.
*Luna's POV*
She stared in hatred at the eleven scouts that were gathered. She had acknowledged the fact that her brother was in there and he possibly had no way of escape. He would die there or maybe he had already. They were celebrating! The seal had broken. You think you can get away with this unpunished?! unconsciously she had bared her teeth at them. Her skin had started rippling, human skin to scales and back. If she didn't control her emotions she would turn into a dragon. "They deserve to be ripped apart." She hissed. her fingers turned into talons. Before anyone could blink she transformed into a huge dragon, her scales were a bright green just like her hair in human form and the eyes had gotten that internal light.
*Scout's POV*
He felt a sudden wind coming from the left. While celebrating he couldn't care less. Those little rats were finally dealt with. He was going home the victor! His comrades were just as ignorant and happy.
A big cloud obscured the moon, the lowest of the scouts Drali looked up. It was huge and it moved rather quickly..too quickly for a normal cloud. "Look out! Get A-" His head was bit off. While the first body was still falling the second and third one were also dead.
"What the-, That can't be true, you were supposed to be in the cave! DYING!" he screamed at the green dragon that was murdering his comrades. He transformed into a small midnight dragon, built for speed and took off, straight to her.
*Luna's POV*
She saw the scout change, one moment human, the next a pesky little thing. He was the only one left, the other worthless servants of her uncle lay dead. Some missed their heads while others missed various body parts. You're dead. Nobody will get away with this.
The black dragon came at her with full speed, fully intending to strike. Yeah not going to happen weakling. "You really should have thought this through before you abandoned us and followed uncle." She snarled in draelic. He spit ice at her, daggers flew at her at break neck speed but she didn't flinch. "Tutut" With that she roared and out came the blue flames, dragon fire. The ice daggers evaporated. Another fire ball came his way, he dodged, only to realise he didn't see her. The head came through the fire ball and latched onto his neck. He screamed in agony. The much bigger dragon started tearing at him, while they tumbled to the ground. "This is your farewell!" Luna let go of him and pushed him down harder with her talons. He slapped to the ground with a sickening thud.
*Scout's POV*
I knew it was over the moment I saw the head emerge from the fire. I wasn't fast enough. The moment her teeth sank into my flesh I considered for a moment to just give up and hope that she would spare me. That was before my instinct took over and made me fight for my life. I felt her teeth sink in again and again, leaving only when she had ripped off a huge chunk of my flesh. I almost didn't feel it when she broke my spine. I stopped fighting, I could sense the ground coming closer. "This is your farewell!" She had said that with such triumph in her voice, like she couldn't wait to see me dead. I deserved that. "I..just wish I could have gloated about their deaths a little longer."
