The silence was the most horrible thing she had ever heard in her life. She didn't dare call out his name. Her home looked ready to fall if there was only a breeze. She stumbled forward. Following the sweet smell of blood. His blood. She was sweating, her hair was plastered to her face while she slowly made her way to the back of the cave where the tunnels were. The exits. Maybe he had gotten out?!

The smell got stronger here. She could almost taste it. Still no body on the ground, at least not one that she could see but with all those boulders it was a possibility that he was under one.

"Alec?" she whispered hoarsely. "Are - are you there?"

A stone crashed right next to her foot, she barely registered it.

The smell of blood was the strongest right where the exit was supposed to be. Luna stood still sniffing the air. It wasn't until she looked up that she saw him or at least part of him. His legs were hanging out of a too narrow exit, one was partly hidden under a boulder. She stared at it in horror, blood dripped down his legs while he hung there limp.

"Deli go..go see if he's alive, please." She whispered. She watched as the tiny dragon flew up and grabbed his leg before she started to go back to Luna. With force, she pulled Alec's body out, the bone in his leg cracked in multiple places before his Luna had a chance to destroy the boulder . He was covered in soot and blood, both his arms and fingers looked unnatural and his leg had multiple places were bone was sticking out of the skin and he was unconscious. This was bad. Very bad.

anyway I hope you enjoyed this very short chapter. I will try to upload a bigger one somewhere this week.
