Luna cried tears of joy for Alec was alive at the moment, but he needed medical treatment and soon. The best option was a medical dragon but with them being fugitives that wasn't an option. The other one was to trust the hidden leaf to treat him but that would mean exposure to the outside world not to mention their uncle still wanted them dead. Both options aren't really options! One way or the other uncle will know where we are located and attack again.

Alec groaned slowly coming to. He blinked slowly multiple times before he focused on her face. "Lulu? What - what are you doing here?" She didn't answer him immediately instead she stared intently at the ground before she mumbled "I had a bad feeling and followed my stomach...here" When she looked up to see his reaction she saw his eyes roll back again.

The anbu were still outside standing guard when Luna dragged him out of the cave.
Alec was transported to the leaf hospital where he stayed for a couple of weeks under heavy guard.
It was quiet, even the Anbu hadn't noticed any more comings or goings of the dragonclan.

Luna worried for days pacing the floors of the foundation and snapping at everyone who dared to walk past her. Deli stayed silent while she watched the heir. That was until Luna whirled on her and screamed: " He could have died! He can still die if uncle makes a move and instead of me being there I am grounded!"
Deli slowly blinked "Yes, you could break the rules and go to him, but by breaking the rules you could lose your spot in the foundation and thus lose the protection they provide. Remember that Minato brought you here thinking that it was the best option."
Luna stared wide eyed at her trying to control her breathing. " Even you are grounded Deli so it isn't even an option for you to take a peek." " Yes malady that's because---" "I know why you are grounded Deli! It's because you might be spotted."
She started pacing again.

* uncle Bartel's POV"

One of his servants opened the door to his chamber " My- my lord..may I enter?" He grunted before sitting upright " What is it weasel?!" the servant almost crawled when he opened the door. " A-a report sir. From the search party you sent out." Bartel smirked "And what have they found? Are they finally dead?"
The servant didn't look him in the eye instead he bowed until his forehead touched the ground. " I am...afraid that uhm.." "what?! What is the information you bear?! Speak rat!"
The servant cowered before him even more. Pathetic.
"The group you sent out have a perished. The heirs are nowhere to be found although we have found the blood of the boy so he might have been injured."
The world went utterly still, his mind was racing. How had they survived? The group must have been strong enough together to be able to destroy the seal and those rats within.
He roared and smashed several pieces of furniture before his eyes settled on the servant. "Anything else you need to tell me?" he bristled.
The servant crawled backwards away from him. "Uhm well.. Don't you want to know what most likely happened?" He snarled at the cowering fool. " you have brought me nothing. You think this pathetic excuse will save your life?" his hand closed around the man's throat "you're wrong." he squeezed until the man stopped struggling.

Stomping outside gave him a sense of joy, people jumped when they saw him and bowed hastily.
A group of scouts stood at the end of the perimeter talking amiably with each other. Until they saw him walking straight toward them. They straightend and fell silent.
"You the group that went to investigate?" he growled. "Yes sir!" the answer was said in perfect sync.
"Report."
One of the man stepped forward "The data we collected let us believe that there was a struggle and that Alec was most likely stuck. We do not know how Luna got out or if she was never in the cave at that critical moment. We concluded that they are most likely still alive although the amount of blood we found in the cave suggests that Alec at least is heavily wounded." He saluted while simultaneously stepping back into the group.

Bartel stared annoyed at the man. He was sorely disappointed by what the man had said. He had hoped that that servant boy lied. " Very well. Have you gathered Intel about their whereabouts? I want them found and killed." No one answered him they just bowed hastily and left.
